The trek takes off from Lukla. First, you will take 30 minutes morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and land at tiny Lukla Airport, and then your trek starts in Khumbu Region. The trek leads to the Dudh Kosi valley route with a climb up to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazar. From Namche, you will trek along a heightened path from where you will witness the first good view of Everest. The Annapurna Base Camp Trek (ABC) (4130m) is also known as the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek.
