Mandraki Harbor of Rhodes

Mandraki is the main harbor of Rhodes, which was once home to the famous Colossus of Rhodes in ancient times. Today, two deer statues named "Elefos" and "Elafina" stand at the harbor, symbolizing the former presence of the statue. Mandraki harbor is a modern marina equipped to accommodate yachts visiting Rhodes. During the summer season, daily tours depart from this harbor to nearby islands like Lindos and Symi. At the seaward end of the fortifications, visitors can find the Castle of St. Nicholas, named after the patron saint of sailors, which functions as a lighthouse.
