Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar)

Istanbul, Eminonu, in particular, was a trade center throughout Bizantyns and Ottomans because it is at the passing point between the East and West, furthermore, its safe coves have been allowing maritime trade too... Spiece Bazaar is one of the oldest bazaars in Istanbul and is located on the shore of the Golden Horn. It is still a preferred shopping place for both native and foreign guests. The construction started in 1597 and ended in 1664 because the period was a tempestuous period for the Ottomans. The bazaar as an architectural structure is Ottoman Classical style, and it has been known that there was another bazaar at the same location during the Byzantine era named Makro Envalos. Spice Bazaar and the area around it are still preferred shopping centers where you can find all kinds of spices, seeds, nuts, delicatessen products, traditional Turkish tastes, textile goods, and of course fresh Turkish coffee..
