Explore The Best 6 Antalya Turkey Tours in 2024

Antalya, as indicated in the myth, can be a paradise on earth, with its “Honeymoon Bays,” hidden coves, natural beauties such as gorges and waterfalls, and so on… With TravelShopBooking’s rich themes, you may visit Antalya with daily tours, guaranteed departure tours, road tours, or blue cruise tours, the plus is here you can still add your holiday daily tours or varied attractions. The city is far away from other touristic and one of the most traveling districts, Pamukkale is roughly about a 3-hour drive away, so the “Pamukkale tour from Antalya” is highly preferred among visitors.

Cappadocia, like Pamukkale, is one of the most visited sights of the year. The fairy chimnies, cave churches, the valley, and the picturesque surface of the city draw tourists from all around the world. Did you know that if you wish, you can visit it too? By “Antalya to Cappadocia tours”, when you have finished all, you can fly to Cappadocia, which is about 1 hour, and visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, Avanos, Red Valley, et al.

At both sights, Pamukkale and Cappadocia, colorful balloons soar in the sky, and this has been one of the most preferred attractions in decades. However, an Antalya balloon tour is not possible due to the climate, and landforms. The confusion about that issue is linked to the fact that Pamukkale is close to Antalya city, yet it is a district of another city, Denizli. Yet in Antalya tours, activities, and tourist attractions never end, so let us talk about the visiting sights first and get your attention to some of the best activities and how you can see Pamukkale and/or Cappadocia from Antalya.

1. What are the best places to visit in Antalya Turkey?

There are so many. According to the myth of Attalos II, the king of Pergamon sent his soldiers to find paradise on earth in the Hellenistic era. Soldiers come to Antalya, as considering its strategic importance, Attalos found a city here as a port city. However, the findings in Karain Cave, 30 km northwest of Antalya, demonstrated that Antalya was a settlement from the lower paleolithic era till today. Accompanied by its natural beauties like waterfalls, and coves, the region is within the borders of Pamphylia which means that so many ancient civilizations have found stunning cities, rise and disappeared in the region. But the ruins that they left behind still tell their story.

Here are some highlighted destinations in Antalya but remember that there are so many others.

  • Ancient sites:

Termessos Ancient City, Aspendos, and Perge are ancient remains that should not be overlooked on any Antalya tour, regardless of your vacation theme. Those well-preserved ancient cities, as well as their captivating stories, the ancient Theatres of Termessos and Aspendos, Roman baths, and the mosaics of Oceanus and Medusa, unearthed in Perge in the 2000s, must be on your list.

  • Natural beauties:

When it comes to natural sites Antalya is so generous about it too. Worldwide popular rafting destinations include Koprulu Canyon, the waterfalls Duden and Kursunlu which may enchant with their view and fauna, and of course Lara and Konyaalti beaches are good locations for some adrenaline, tranquility, and sunbathing. The city is known for its waterfalls best and it might be better to join an “Antalya waterfall tour” that visits the old city and then moves to the waterfalls.

  • Cruise and boat stop:

Attalos’s soldiers might be right about Antalya being a paradise because it has remarkable, worldwide challenging coves too. Visit the destinations: Adrasan Suluada, where you will feel like in the Maldives while walking on the white sands; Sazak Cove, which Blue Voyage captains nicknamed “Honeymoon Bay,” and Korsan Cove, for more chilly waters. On the other hand, Antalya boat tour prices are around 30 to 60 €, but more luxurious and private ones, for a marriage proposal with some rose leaves, champagne, and colorful balloons, for instance, can be arranged at different costs.

After a lunch break, you can explore the canyon by foot, or experience rafting or ziplining. Hotel transportation and lunch are included in the tour.

Koprulu Canyon National Park is a well-known and popular destination for outdoor sports enthusiasts. But considering that it is 95 km from Antalya city hub to the canyon and between the attraction points, the distance is mostly about 10 km, so attending a tour may be the best way to eliminate the concerns about transportation, entrance fees, and communication issues. Plus, Koprulu Canyon has sections named Tazi Canyon, and Koprucay, this fully guided tour will pick you up from your hotel and it will take 2 hours drive to get to the canyon. On the canyon, the tour will give several breaks to swim in crystal clear waters, a zipline experience next, and finally to the Koprucay River where you will experience rafting along the 14-km which will roughly last 1.5 hours.

We had a wonderful tour of Turkey

We had a wonderful tour of Turkey, which included Anzac day at Anzac cove, our guide & driver were excellent & we only had a small number on our bus. Hotels were 4 star or more, but were out of towns. Food was good mainly buffets. Great value for money. Turkish people were lovely.

Excellent value and comprehensive tour of top sights.

Excellent and experienced guide Oscar was a wealth of knowledge and fun to travel with.
The airport pickup and departures were smooth and well organized. Hotels were all of good quality though some were a distance from the cities visited. Lunch/dinner buffets were fairly repetitive in content, but you could always find something good and one never goes hungry. The vehicle used, a minibus, was modern, clean and “Fati” was a safe and excellent driver. There are some quite long driving days to cover so much territory, but in 10 days you will have seen many of Türkiye’s most famous and beautiful sights. Very good value for money and a responsive and communicative travel company to work with. I look forward to future adventures with TravelShop.
