About Ethnography Museum of Ankara

The museum building, constructed on an area of approximately 854 m², is a single-story, rectangular structure crowned with a single dome. The interior consists of ten exhibition halls and a mausoleum area.
Following the renewed exhibition and arrangement works, the museum was reopened to visitors on 27 May 2022 during the Başkent Culture Route Festival. Today, the museum features a total of ten galleries, nine of which are permanent exhibitions—Wooden Artworks Hall, Hacı Bayram-ı Veli and Sufi Works Hall, Manuscripts and Calligraphy Panels Hall, Power and Authority Hall, Tile Artworks Hall, Ankara House Street, Fired Clay-Glass and Metal Works Hall, Carpet and Kilim Hall, Elegance and Aesthetics Hall—and one temporary exhibition hall.

In total, 556 artifacts are on display across these ten halls.
