Museum Concept and Mission

Situated like an oasis in the steppes of Western Anatolia, the museum operates within the Sivrihisar Aviation Center – Necati Artan Facilities and continues its activities under Mach Aviation, one of Türkiye’s leading aviation companies.

The most distinctive feature of the museum is that the majority of its aircraft are maintained in flying condition and preserved as airworthy exhibits. Each aircraft represents a significant chapter in global aviation history, carrying its own unique story and legacy. Displayed in line with modern museum standards, these aircraft offer historians, aviation enthusiasts, and professionals a rare opportunity to observe historic flying machines up close.

Serving as a bridge between aviation history, heritage, and the future, the museum’s primary goal is to contribute to the development of a strong and informed aviation culture in Türkiye.

Educational Vision

The museum aims to provide aviation knowledge to visitors of all ages, inspire innovation, and support future developments in the field. Another key objective is to encourage greater interest in aviation not only among students, but also among industrialists and entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of aviation education and industry.

Believing firmly that reaching the level of contemporary civilization is only possible through such efforts, the museum embraces Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s vision that “The future is in the skies.” Aviation, as a field of intense international competition, is regarded as a vital area that must always remain at the forefront of national attention.
