1-DAY PRIVATE SAFARI : ZANZIBAR TO NYERERE NATIONAL PARK BY FLIGHT

Set out on a joyous full-day adventure to Nyerere National Park, one of the biggest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa.  Your safari holiday starts with a local flight from Zanzibar to Mtemere Airstrip, inside the park. On arrival, you will be welcomed by our tour guide at the airstrip. Enjoy a  full day of game drive in the park. Exciting game drives through out the day will get you to see lions, elephants, hippos, crocs, the famous giraffes of Selous, zebras, leopards, wildebeests and many more mammals. The park has rivers and lakes crisscrossing it.

SUMMARY ITINERARY OF DAY TRIP PLAN

The safari holiday will start early in the morning with your pick-up at your hotel and a transfer to the airport in time for your scheduled flight at 06:20AM. Inside the airport, you will be attended to by one of our designated officers who will show you the waiting area for the flight.

Upon arrival at Mtemere airstrip, you will be met by our tour guide, and proceed to a full day of safari game drives in Nyerere national park. Game drives (animal sightings from the safari car) are the best way to explore this vast wildlife sanctuary as you will come across large game, including elephants, lions, giraffe, hippos, buffaloes, wild dogs, and buffalos.

Around 1pm, you will break for a hot picnic lunch in inside the park, and get a chance to stress and rest. Then you will continue with afternoon game drives until the evening time for your scheduled return flight to Zanzibar.
On arrival in Zanzibar airport, you will again be met by our professional driver for your transfer to your hotel.
This package requires a minimum of two (2) travellers sharing the safari vehicle. It is a perfect short safari for first time safari goers or those with limited time in Zanzibar.
