Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the Romanian capital – the Royal Palace, the University’s Library, the City-Hall and other interesting sights of the city also called “the little Paris” because of the similar architecture style of the buildings. Visit of Parliament Palace – the second largest building by surface area in the world after the pentagon in the USA. Then departure through the Carpathian Mountains to Sibiu and the Oltului Valley – the most spectacular river valley in Romania. We will stop to visit Cozia Monastery. In the afternoon, we arrive in the biggest medieval city in Romania – Sibiu. After check-in the hotel, direct on the pedestrian street, we take a city tour in Sibiu/Hermannstadt - the European Cultural Capital 2007. We will visit, among others the Evangelical Church, the Council Tower, The large and the Small Square, the Liars' Bridge, the Brukenthal Palace. Dinner and overnight in Sibiu.

Alba Iulia, a stunning fortress built in the Vauban style, which was originally a Roman fort known as Apulum. You will discover one of the oldest city in Eastern Europe and one of the only Vauban citadel in this part of the world: the Medieval Gates, the Roman Castrum Ruins, the Orthodox Cathedral (the place of spiritual reunification of all Romanians), the Catholic Cathedral, "Horea, Closca and Crisan" Obelisk with their amazing story. Next, we drive to Turda in order to visit the famous Salt Mine “Salina Turda”. This is the largest salt mine accessible to tourists in the world. Marvel at the vast spaces and discover the salt mine museum. We will drive to Cluj Napoca, the capital of Transylvania, and a city famous for its beautiful architecture and traditional culture. Your tour will include the most important sights in the town, such as St. Michael's Church, and the unique mirror street. Accommodation in Cluj Napoca.

Today we will drive to Maramures. We will drive first to Surdesti to visit the UNESCO monument, the wooden Church Surdesti. From here, we drive to Sighetul Marmatiei which shelters Romanian, Hungarian, Jewish, German, and Ukrainian communities, living together for centuries. We will visit the Memorial Museum and we will discover an important but sad part of Romanian history. Then we will drive to Sapanta where we will visit the merry cemetery with its crosses telling funny, uncensored stories about boozers, Lovelace and communist party members. Carver Workshop visit in Sapanta. After this visit, we will return in Sighetul Marmatiei for accommodation.

Our next target will be the most spectacular wooden-churches, Barsana and Bogdan Voda (UNESCO Monument). we will cross the Carpathian Mountains into Bukovina. We will visit Voronet Monastery (UNESCO) - Perhaps the most famous and stunning of the painted monasteries is Voronet (Vo or nets), founded in 1487 by Stephen the Great. Accommodation and dinner in Gura Humorului.

We will visit Moldovita Monastery (UNESCO) - Located in the village of Vatra Moldovitei, which was built by Petru Rares in 1532. The predominantly gold and deep blue paintings on the exterior walls were completed in 1537. The large and vivid Siege of Constantinople highlights the frescoes. Over the Ciurmna Pass, we will drive to Sucevita Monastery (UNESCO) - High walls and heavily buttressed defensive towers surround the great monastic complex of Sucevita, giving it the appearance of a fortress. Founded in 1581 by Gheorghe Movila, Bishop of Radauti, it was later expanded by his brother, Ieremia, ruling prince of Moldavia, who added massive ramparts and turrets. An elegant steeple resting on a star-shaped base tops the church. Massive eaves protect the outside frescoes, painted by local artists in 1602-1604. The village of Marginea - Marginea Ceramics is already a well-known brand. Historians date the beginning of pottery at Marginea in 1500. The little village is famous for its black pottery. Local artisans still produce this pottery - you can pick up a piece as a souvenir of the region. Our last stop today is Humor Monastery (UNESCO) - Founded in 1530, Humor (Hoo mor) is rather small physically but looms large among Bucovina's treasures with a variety of frescoes dating from 1535, including one illustrating the Return of the Prodigal Son and one with a humorous depiction of the devil as a woman. After breakfast, we take the road to Transylvania, driving through to the Bicaz Gorges, where, we will enjoy a real spectacle of the wild nature. The gorge twists and turns steeply uphill for 5km, cutting through sheer, 300m-high limestone rocks. We will admire also the beauty of the „Red Lake “, the largest natural mountain lake in Romania. We arrive in Sighisoara - one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Romania – a UNESCO city. City tour of Sighisoara with the Citadel - a Saxon edifice from XII c. – a UNESCO monument. Accommodation in Sighisoara.

After breakfast, we are driving to Brasov. We will depart to Bran village, where the world-famous Dracula Castle is located. The castle was built in 1377 to safeguard the trading route between Transylvania and Wallachia, enlarged and restored a few times to become a royal residence in the 1920s under Queen Marie of Romania. Nowadays, Bran Castle is the most visited castle in Romania and is known, all over the world, as Dracula`s Castle. After the visit enjoy cheese sampling and tunica in Bran. In Brasov we will have a city tour of the middle-aged city inside the Carpathian Arch, visiting the main touristic features: The Council Hall, the Black Church, the 14th century St. Saint Nicholas Church, the Schei quarter, The Rope Street (the narrowest street in Romania). Free afternoon in Brasov. Accommodation in Brasov.

The Royal Family`s favorite city (Sinaia) will be our next target. The gateway to wild nature is possible here, a mountain resort known also as „The Pearl of the Carpathians “. This place impresses everyone by the beauty of its landscapes, guarding a treasure of the Romanian history: The Peles Castle, used as a summer residence for the royal family, this monument represents a symbol of elegance and nobility. Dinner at a famous local restaurant in the city center of Bucharest. Accommodation in Bucharest.

Breakfast. Free time in Bucharest for shopping. You can shop in the city center, in the aria of Calea Victoriei street where you can find brands like Burberry, Gucci, Max Mara, Frey Wille, Menotti, Charme Boutique, Emporio Armani etc. or at Unirea Shopping Center that is located approx. 15 minutes walk from your hotel.
