Overview

4 days Lake Mburo national park and chimpanzee trekking national park is one of a kind safari which will involve wildlife safari where you will encounter wildlife for example buffaloes, giraffes, leopards, zebras, impalas, birds, beautiful sceneries especially the Kigarama hill, you will go ahead to explore the wilderness and encounter chimpanzees, monkeys, birds, local brew experience among others.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

On the first day of this trip, you will be picked up by our company representative, he will brief you about the trip and there immediately you will hit the road and transfer to Lake Mburo national park. You will have your first stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe, you will engage in Equator experience and later transfer to Lake Mburo national park, you will arrive at time for lunch, connect to your accommodation, check in, have lunch and later in the evening, you will engage in the evening game drive where you will be welcomed by herds of zebras, buffaloes, impalas among others, later you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise

You will arise in the morning, grab yourself a scrumptious breakfast, meet your driver guide and head to the jungle to catch the animals when they are still very active. Expect to spot buffaloes, zebras, impalas, giraffes, leopards, hyenas, birds will be singing as you get immersed in nature and this game drive will last for about 2-3hours, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, lunch and in the evening you will go for a boat cruise to discover more about the beauty of the park. The lake is composed of amazing things starting from the beautiful scenery to wonderful aquatic life for example hippos, crocodiles, birds including a shoebill stork. You will return to the lodge with lots of memories, you will relax, have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Horseback riding and transfer to Kibale

Arise in the morning, greet your intestines with a scrumptious breakfast and go for a horseback ride, one of the rarest activity which will give you a chance to come closer to the nature, you will meet different animals and at a closer spot, later after this activity, you will head to the lodge to check out and transfer to Kibale forest national park, you will have lunch in Mbarara, thereafter proceed to Kibale forest national park where you will be spending a night as you get ready to encounter the chimps.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer back to Entebbe

You will arise in the morning for breakfast, meet your driver guide who will transfer you Kanyanchu guest information center, you will be briefed about chimpanzee trekking etiquettes, you will later transfer to the forest with the ranger guide who will be answering all your questions about chimpanzees, after you have met the chimpanzees, you will spend 1 hour in the presence of the chimpanzees as you take pictures and videos, you will later transfer to the park headquarters to pick your chimpanzee trekking certificate, head to the lodge to freshen up and then transfer to Entebbe and this will mark the end of your safari.
