Itinerary
Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds. Enjoy a full-day game drive with opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of birdlife. After lunch, continue exploring the park before heading to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Enjoy breathtaking views along the way and begin your first game drive upon entering the park. Search for the Big Five and other wildlife as you make your way to your accommodation in Central Serengeti.
Spend the entire day exploring the endless plains of Serengeti National Park. Depending on the season, witness the spectacular Great Migration and encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, and countless other species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Start the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to observe predators in action. After breakfast, continue your wildlife viewing as you exit Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at the crater rim in the evening and enjoy spectacular views before dinner and your overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of Africa's highest concentrations of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino. After lunch, drive to the Lake Manyara area for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, and lush groundwater forest. Following lunch, return to Arusha, where your unforgettable 6-day Tanzania safari comes to an end.
