Itinerary

Meet at Bursa Yenisehir Airport and transfer to your hotel. You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to explore Bilecik. Overnight in Bilecik.

(Breakfast included)

After breakfast, we pick you up from the hotel and start your city tour. Bilecik Museum, originally constructed as a courthouse, on the land where a demolished Ottoman building once stood, this large and impressive structure was restored and opened as a museum in 2006. It exhibits both archaeological and ethnographic items in chronological order. Shaykh Edebali Tomb, which was attributed to Sheikh Edebali, who was considered by many to be the philosophic architect of the Ottoman Empire, was built during the time of Orhan Gazi. It has a panoramic view on the cliffs. Orhan Ghazi Mosque, built on the edge of a steep cliff, has the capacity to hold 365 worshipers at the same time. Believed to be built in the early 14th century and only 50 meters from the Edebali Mausoleum, Orhan Ghazi Mosque was restored in 1973. Unlike other mosques, where the minarets are traditionally adjacent to the mosque, the main minaret of Orhan Ghazi Mosque is built on a rock, 30 meters away from the main building. The Clock Tower is located at the center of Bilecik province over a hill dominant to the city. The Watch Tower is four-sided, with one clock on each side and was constructed by Sultan Abdulhamit II. Pelitozu Pond, which is covered with pine trees, is 7 kilometers away from the city center. The pond, which has an area of 213.50 hectares, was created for irrigation purposes. It attracts great attention especially on weekends due to its ease of transportation and wide area. You can set up a tent and barbecue around the lake. There are also tea gardens and pancake houses. You can also rent bicycles for touring around the lake and you can travel by sea bikes in the lake. After the tour we drop you back to the hotel. Overnight in Bilecik.

(Breakfast and lunch included)

After breakfast, we take you from the hotel and depart to a local restaurant for your professional cooking lesson. You participate in your first Turkish cooking lesson: During our Bilecik cooking tour, you will taste various flavors of Bilecik and prepare lunch together with the chef, the city's most famous menu Bilecik Guveci and a dessert which you will enjoy and giving you an experience to learn great recipes and techniques to add to your own collection. After lunch you will depart to city center for free time and shopping before returning to your hotel. After the tour drop back to your hotel. Overnight in Bilecik.

(Breakfast included)

After breakfast, we take you from the hotel and depart to the traditional Turkish bath, a place where physical and spiritual cleaning takes place and which is hundreds of years old. Natural lighting and Iznik colored tiles create a relaxing atmosphere. When entering to Turkish bath, you leave all the hastiness of daily life outside, you exchange your clothes for a waistcloth and adorn the traditional clogs. Inside temperatures reach up to 50 degrees Celsius under the central dome of the building. This heat and humidity opens the pores of the body and extracts the fatty oils of the body in preparation for your scrub down and a massage by the attendant. After a gentle soap massage, you leave the bath place with towels and pass to resting room. Here, tea is offered to you. You leave the Turkish Bath renewed, beautiful and refreshed. After the bath we drive to Kinik Waterfall, a spot to enjoy the natural wonders of the area. Kinik Waterfall comes out from Kinik village and displays an interesting appearance. It is approximately 25 km away from the city center. After the tour drop back to your hotel. Overnight in Bilecik.

(Breakfast included)

After breakfast, we take you from the hotel and depart to Sogut. Ertugrul Ghazi Mausoleum, the father of Osman Ghazi, the Ottoman Empire's founder. Although the exact construction date of the mausoleum is unknown, it is believed to be built toward the late 13th century. Ertugrul Gazi Museum located in Sogut district where the Ottoman Empire was founded, is actually a new structure, founded in the beginning of the 20th century. Works of the Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman periods are exhibited. Kaymakam Fountain a reflection of beautiful 19th century architecture. Celebi Sultan Mehmet Mosque built in 1420, the mosque is a wonderful building with 12 domes. Then we go to Inhisar Cave which gives its name to Inhisar district. It was explored and mapped by MTA (General Directorate of Mineral Exploration and Exploration) in 2002. The height of the cave is 350 meters, its length is 170 meters and its depth is 40 meters. Later to Harmankaya Canyon Nature Park the entrance of the canyon, which offers different experience for lovers of adventure. The canyon, which is 538 meters high, ends at a height of 385 meters after about 3 kilometers. To pass the canyon with large and small waterfalls, you need to know how to swim and have the necessary equipment. After the tour drop back to your hotel. Overnight in Bilecik.
