Welcome to Turkey, today is your arrival day. Meet at Hakkari Yuksekova Selahaddin Eyyubi airport and transfer to your hotel. You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to explore Hakkari. Overnight in Hakkari.

Pick up from the hotel after breakfast. Hakkari, located in the east of our country, has been under the rule of many civilizations throughout history. Standing out with its deep-rooted history, Hakkari is important with its mosques, castles and palaces. The first in our city tour of Hakkari; Semdinli Stone Bridge and Kayme Palace will be other places to see. Kayme Palace, According to what is learned from the inscriptions, it was built between 1909 and 1911. Although the name is not mentioned in the inscriptions, it is thought that it was built by Seyit Muhammed Siddik, son of Seyit Ubeydullah. Semdinli Stone Bridge, It provides the connection of the Derecik-Iraq road. Located in a deep valley between high mountains, the bridge, which is a single span in the north-south direction, sits on the rocks on both legs. The Gulul soup, which we can describe as yogurt soup, includes green lentils and cut dough. The main ingredient of the Finger kebab, which has a Yuksekova flavor, is eggplant cut in the form of a finger. It can be surprising with a variety of spices. Jajik is one of the flavors that are often prepared in the city. Prepared with yoghurt and grated cucumber, this delicious snack becomes legendary with the addition of some garlic. In Hakkari, small chopped cabbage pickles are called soup. For those who want to try both a satisfying and delicious taste, Chevirmeli Pilav is one of the dishes we recommend. Firstly, bird head and various vegetables are added to the bottom of the pan, and then roasted grain rice. Cukurca Tahin dessert Sesame seeds grown in Cukurca region are roasted in low heat and used in tahini production. It has a special aroma. Pick up from your hotel in Hakkari and depart to Daily Hakkari Traditional Turkish Bath Tour. Turkish Bath is quite a popular part of Turkish culture and it is being practiced all around the country therefore it will be nice to experience this activity. Depending on your wish and the available hours of Hamam. After the Hamam we will depart to city center for free time and shopping before returning to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Hakkari.

Pick up from your hotel and depart to Meher Gate (Stone Gate).
Stone Gate, which belongs to the Urartu King Ispuini period, is one of the important sources that contain information about the Urartu religion. In the inscription on the door, all gods and goddesses blessed in the country of Urartu, daily lists of victims presented to them, and sacred mountains, rivers and cities are reported. There is also a sacrificial altar in the shape of a horizontal rectangle, carved into the rock, just in front of the niche where the inscription is located.
It is called Stone Gate also Meher Gate. Meher is a word meaning “illuminating”. It is called by this name because it is believed that the State of God will come out of it in a beam of light. Then continue to Varagavank (The Seven Churches); Complex consisting of seven separate churches and structures built in the 8th century. After this historical visit keep going on to famous Cumhuriyet Street, Guide will give you information about street and lunch break. After Lunch break we will visit to Cat House, Van city’s cats are really famous most of them have different eye colours. You can feed them also care them. After taking photographs continue to Van Castle Mound, Post Urartu, Urartu and Bronze Age building levels were excavated. The mound was used as a cemetery for a long period, during which the construction continued during the middle Ages. Next to Van Castle Mound we will see Kaya Celebi Mosque; the mosque, the construction of which started in 1660, is one of the important structures of the Ottoman period. From the same point you will see Van Castle, Guide give you information and free time for Photographs then Return to our hotel in Hakkari. Overnight in Hakkari.
