Following your eclipse experience in Egypt, your adventure continues in Turkey. Starting in Istanbul, you will witness the exterior grandeur of Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, and explore the architectural wonders of the Blue Mosque. From there, you will journey to the capital, Ankara, to visit the majestic Anitkabir, before heading into the heart of Anatolia to explore the lunar landscapes of Cappadocia and its ancient subterranean cities. Over these seven days, you will traverse centuries of civilization, from the Byzantine heritage to the legendary ramparts of Zile Castle, where Julius Caesar famously proclaimed "Veni, Vidi, Vici." Your exploration concludes with the natural wonders of the healing Ballica Cave and the serene Gaz Lake in Tokat. This journey is designed to uncover the authentic soul of Turkey, combining monumental archaeology with the tranquil beauty of the Anatolian plateau. One-week, multiple eras: an unforgettable transition from the historic streets of Istanbul to the timeless heart of the Silk Road.
