Ottoman Empire was founded here in 1299, and Ertugrul Gazi, father of the founder of Ottoman Empire Osman Bey, passed away and buried here. We will visit THE TOMB OF ERTUGRUL GAZI. After that we will visit Bilecik Museum originally constructed as a courthouse on the land where a demolished Ottoman building once stood, this large and impressive structure was restored and opened as a museum in 2006. It exhibits both archaeological and ethnographic items in chronological order. Shaykh Edebali Tomb, which was attributed to Sheikh Edebali, who was considered by many to be the philosophic architect of the Ottoman Empire, was built during the time of Orhan Gazi. It has a panoramic view on the cliffs. Orhan Ghazi Mosque built on the edge of a steep cliff, the mosque has the capacity to hold 365 worshipers at the same time. Believed to be built in the early 14th century and only 50 meters from the Edebali Mausoleum, Orhan Ghazi Mosque was restored in 1973.
