About this tour
Follow the story of ancient Egypt's greatest pharaohs from the Royal Mummies Hall in Cairo to their original rock-cut tombs in Thebes and temples along the Nile on this 8-day, 7-night private luxury journey. Combining 3 nights in total in Cairo (2 nights on Nights 1–2 and 1 final night on Night 7) with a 4-night 5-star luxury Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan (Nights 3–6), an included excursion to Abu Simbel, and domestic flights, every detail is privately curated.
Begin with 2 nights at a 5-star Cairo hotel (Nights 1–2), visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC)—where 22 royal mummies from the Pharaohs' Golden Parade rest. On Day 3, fly to Luxor to board a 5-star luxury Nile cruise ship (4 nights, Full Board) and explore the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, and Queen Hatshepsut's Temple.
Over Days 4 to 6, visit Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, and the Mummification Museum in Luxor, sail to Edfu Temple and Kom Ombo's Crocodile Museum, and tour Aswan's Philae Temple and High Dam with a traditional felucca sail. On Day 7, visit the colossal Temples of Abu Simbel before flying from Aswan back to Cairo for 1 final night (Night 7) and your Day 8 departure.
