Itinerary

Welcome to La Paz airport and transfer to the hotel.
At the agreed time, we will visit different areas of the city of La Paz, such as: Plaza Murillo, the Government Palace, the Legislative Palace, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Then we will take the cable car and enjoy a fantastic view of the city built between mountains. Afterwards, we will stroll through the traditional sector, where the popular Calle de las Brujas (Street of Witches) is located, an area where amulets, objects, and plants are sold to ward off evil spirits and perform rituals of the Andean worldview. We will end the tour with a visit to the Valley of the Moon, a beautiful place located near the city of La Paz where erosion has, over many years, formed wonderful rock formations that give us the feeling of being in a real lunar landscape.

We will travel to Sorata by private transport in the morning. We will arrive directly at the hotel where we will check in and have lunch. Then, we will head to the Suspension Bridge, where we will take a relaxing walk surrounded by the rich flora and fresh air that the area has to offer.

Our first activity will be a trip to San Pedro Cave. With any luck, we will be able to see the bats that live there, and then we will take a short boat ride on the lake deep inside the cave. Our next destination is Take Kala, a viewpoint that offers a beautiful view of the green mountains and the Sorata River. We will take a tour to learn about the plants that grow there and observe the cave paintings that were discovered in a small rocky area. After lunch, we will return to the village and take transportation back to La Paz.

We leave for the airport to catch our flight to Uyuni.
Arrival in Uyuni in the morning. After breakfast, we will begin us adventure. We will visit the Train Cemetery and the town of Colchani, where salt is processed using traditional methods. We will continue our adventure until we reach Incahuasi Island, located 80 km away. From its summit, surrounded by giant cacti, we will be able to appreciate the surprising expanse of the salt sea and see the majestic Tunupa volcano. We will be able to feel the magic of the place, where the horizon disappears. We will have time to observe the landscape and take photos playing with perspective.
We will continue to the Gruta de las Galaxias, a rather peculiar cave, as it contains speleothems that resemble spider webs, giving the cave the general appearance of being from another galaxy.

Arrival in Cochabamba, breakfast, and check-in at the hotel. We will visit the Main Square, surrounded by religious and civil buildings, and continue along the Paseo del Prado and the Plaza de las Banderas. We will stop at the Cochabamba sign and our last stop will be the Cristo de La Concordia, a large 40-meter-high sculpture that is one of the most iconic attractions in the country.
Then we will head to Toro Toro, a picturesque village that gives us access to the national park of the same name, known for having been the land of dinosaurs.
We will start the day with a tour called El Vergel. It is a walk of approximately 3 and a half hours, stopping at the different tourist attractions in the area. Among these, we will be able to appreciate the Teatro Natural Pétreo, a curious rock formation that gives us the impression of standing in front of a stage.
We will walk along an incredible prehistoric trail where some dinosaur footprints can be found, and then we will arrive at the Gran Cañón viewpoint, where we will enjoy a panoramic view of a breathtaking landscape. We will begin a descent towards the river and arrive at the El Vergel waterfalls, where we can enjoy a swim in the water and observe this beautiful natural landscape. After lunch, we will take a second tour to Chiflon Qaqa, a circuit that includes a walk along the trail that borders the Torotoro River, where we will observe the Batea Qocha pools, some curious natural pools. We will then arrive at the Chiflón waterfall, another landscape worthy of admiration. Finally, we will visit Carreras Pampa, where we will find footprints of theropod dinosaurs. Return to the village, dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.
*Good physical condition and mobility are necessary to complete this tour.
Today we will depart for Itas City, a journey filled with magical natural landscapes that seem to have been taken from a fantasy story. We will walk for approximately 3 hours, stopping at places of interest along the way, where we will find incredible views, small caves, cave paintings, and giant rocks. After lunch, we will head to our final destination: the Umajalanta Cave, the longest and deepest cave in Bolivia. Inside, we will see different stalagmites and stalactites of various sizes. The dark atmosphere of the cave and the difficulty of the path make this trip a real adventure. Finally, we will return to the village and take transportation back to Cochabamba.
*Good physical condition and mobility are necessary to complete this tour, as it will be necessary to crawl, climb, and use ropes inside the cave.

As your Bolivian adventure comes to an end, enjoy your final moments in La Paz before your scheduled transfer to the International Airport. According to your flight time, we will accompany you comfortably to the airport for your onward connection. You depart with unforgettable memories of dramatic landscapes, cultural richness, and extraordinary experiences across Bolivia until your next journey back.
