9 Days Across Panama: Culture, Mountains & Caribbean Paradise

Full City Tour of Panama City: We will begin the tour by visiting the famous Panama Canal, after which we will proceed to the Amador Causeway and Balboa Park, currently a highly developed area, a tourist attraction, and the location of the administrative building.

We will continue on to the Old Town, after which we will have a panoramic view of the city and the new coastal road that surrounds the old town. In the afternoon, lunch at the market. We will continue to Casco Viejo, after which we will have a panoramic view of the city and the new coastal road that surrounds the old city. In the afternoon, lunch at the city's seafood market will end with a visit to Panama La Vieja.

Today, you can choose between two amazing activities you might like.

Option 1: Emberá Indigenous People of the Tropical Forest of Panama. We will start our tour very early in the morning to the Chagres National Park, where you will have the opportunity to share a little life with the Emberá indigenous tribe. Here you will enjoy the jungle full of noises while we sail aboard a canoe along the Chagres River. We will stop to visit a beautiful waterfall. Includes typical lunch and water.

OPTION 2: Caribbean Day-San Blas Tour. The departure will be very early in the morning, we will cross the isthmus through the wild jungle, and we will arrive at the Guna indigenous reserve. Here on the Caribbean coast, we will have a 20-minute boat ride to reach the small islands to have a relaxing day. We will also enjoy the Guna Culture and its traditional sewing patterns, "mola".

After breakfast, we will leave for the airport to take a 50-minute flight to Bocas del Toro. Upon arrival, we will check-in and leave our luggage, and put on our swimsuits to enjoy the Caribbean waters. We will visit Cayo Los Delfines and the mangroves. We will stop to enjoy a Caribbean lunch at a beautiful restaurant overlooking leaning over the water. After lunch, we will head to the Red Frog Beach, so called because of the red frog that populates the area. Free time to enjoy the beach and return to the hotel

We will have breakfast and we will leave our bus at 09:30 am. We will board the famous water taxis to leave Isla Colón, arriving at Almirante where our transport will take us to Boquete, Chiriquí, on the sides of the Barú volcano, more than 1000 meters above sea level, crossing the rainy park La Amistad.

Today, we’ll make the most of our time in Boquete with a visit to its renowned coffee plantations. Depending on the season, you may even witness the coffee harvesting process firsthand, offering a deeper insight into one of Panama’s most celebrated traditions.

This morning is free for you to relax and enjoy the hotel or take a stroll through the charming town of Boquete at your own pace. In the afternoon, we’ll depart from the hotel and travel back to Panama City. In the evening, enjoy a traditional folkloric show during dinner at El Trapiche restaurant or a similar local venue.
