It was initially named Alauddevle Mescit after Kasim Bey's father Alauddevle Bozkurt.
Sharlak Waterfall: Sharlak Waterfall, which is shown as one of the magnificent natural beauties of Osmaniye, is located in the district of Kadirli, on the stream of Baliklar.
