Itinerary

Upon arrival at Frankfurt Airport, enjoy a seamless private transfer to your centrally located hotel. The afternoon is yours to unwind or explore Germany’s financial capital at leisure. Stroll along the River Main, visit renowned museums, or shop in the elegant Zeil district. For those who wish, an optional Main River evening cruise is available (supplement of €49), offering dinner and beautiful skyline views. Overnight in selected hotel.

Breakfast at the Hotel. Come today with us to one of the most beautiful destinations in Germany: the Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The winding Rhine loops through the mountain ranges, the small, traditional villages, the steep terraces of the vineyards and the mighty medieval castles on both sides of the bank form the magnificent panorama of this river landscape. Above the vineyards you have a wonderful view of the valley. In the warmer seasons, it's worth taking a slow cable car ride down to the river (optional). Lunch is served in our selected event location directly on the bank in Rüddesheim/ Assmannshausen. The boat trip is one of the highlights of your trip. We will leave the restaurant and walk to the pier to embark one of the typical white Rhine steamer ships. Slowly downstreaming the most beautiful part of the valley, you will enjoy the stunning scenic beauty of the river panorama. Approx. one and a half hour later we have reached the famous Loreley Rock: The famous poem of Heinrich Heine describes the beautiful female sitting on the cliff above the Rhine and combing her golden hair, distracting shipmen with her beauty and song, causing them to crash on the rocks. At St. Goarshausen we will disembark. After the boat ride we will return to Frankfurt alongside the river banks by bus. Overnight in Frankfurt (B) (L).

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Frankfurt and travel south toward the picturesque university town of Heidelberg. Spend two hours on your own to explore its historic old town and striking castle ruins overlooking the Neckar River. At the top of every visitor’s list is the symbolic heart of the city — the red-sandstone Heidelberg Castle, which is consistently voted by foreign visitors as the top tourist attraction in Germany. Visitors can wander the grounds and from the castle walls, marvel at the views of the Old Town that never fail to thrill. The Old Town itself is a must see in order to sample the charms of the elegant churches, picture book lanes, and alleyways set against the backdrop of the beautiful Neckar River. This area of the city also contains the longest pedestrianized shopping strip in Germany. Slightly out from the center, but no less impressive is Philosophers’ Way, the name given to the path just above the city that allegedly inspired the philosophers of old. Continue to the elegant spa town of Baden-Baden for another two-hour independent visit, where you can stroll through lush parks or admire its Belle Époque architecture. Baden-Baden's curative waters have attracted many visitors over the years. Settled back in Roman times, Baden-Baden underwent a reinvention in the 18th century due to an influx of French refugees fleeing the French Revolution. Thanks to its proximity to the French boarder, the spirit of France still prevails in Baden-Baden and can be seen in the town's chic boutiques, charming cafes and picturesque gardens along the Oos River. The town is also home to Germany's oldest Casino and the Frieder Burda Museum which houses one of the best collections of modern art in the world. An attractive and ambient town, Baden-Baden is designed to be enjoyed by everyone. After the visit, continue to your final destination. Arrive in Freiburg, gateway to the Black Forest, in the evening. Overnight in selected hotel. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel.  Embark today on an unforgettable Alsatian adventure, and prepare to be enchanted as you set out on a day trip to explore the picturesque towns of Colmar and Strasbourg, each offering its own unique blend of history, culture, and culinary delights. Your first destination is Colmar, often referred to as the "Little Venice" of France. As you wander through its narrow cobblestone streets, you'll be captivated by the town's romantic canals, colorful half-timbered houses, and flower-bedecked bridges. As the day draws to a close, bid farewell to Strasbourg and begin your journey back to Freiburg, reflecting on the memories of a day filled with enchanting sights, cultural discoveries, and culinary delights. Whether it's the fairytale charm of Colmar or the historic grandeur of Strasbourg, your Alsatian day trip promises to be an unforgettable experience, leaving you with a deeper appreciation for this unique region of France. Overnight in Freiburg. (B)

After breakfast, embark on the next leg of your adventure, as you leave the charming city of Freiburg behind and journey towards the enchanting shores of Lake Constance (Bodensee). Today's itinerary promises a delightful blend of natural beauty, cultural exploration, and culinary indulgence. Your first stop is in a local cheese farm for an authentic tasting and insight into traditional production methods. Co tinue to Konstanz, a historic city nestled on the shores of Lake Constance. As you arrive, you'll be greeted by the sparkling waters of the lake and the imposing silhouette of the medieval town. Take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront promenade, where charming cafes and colorful flower gardens create a serene atmosphere. Explore the Old Town, with its narrow streets and picturesque squares, and visit the impressive Konstanz Cathedral, known for its stunning Gothic architecture and ornate interiors. From Konstanz, set sail for Mainau Island, often referred to as the "Island of Flowers." As the day draws to a close, make your way to Füssen, a picturesque town nestled at the foot of the Bavarian Alps. Famous for its fairy-tale castles and stunning mountain scenery, Füssen is the perfect destination to conclude your day of exploration. Overnight in selected hotel. (B)

After breakfast, leave the hotel on a guided tour to visit the most visited monument in Germany, the Neuschwannstein Palace. Departing from Füssen, visit first the idyllic area ato your own pace. Wander through the scenic German countryside on your way to the legendary extravagance of the German castles Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Known for their elaborate construction and world-famous architecture, these two extraordinary structures were dreamed up by Germany’s own Ludwig II, also known as the Swan King. You’ll soon find out why many believe Neuschwanstein  inspired Disney’s storybook castles -get ready to feel like you’re living a real-life fairy tale. Hidden in the seclusion of the mountains, German King Ludwig II built two of his dream castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Both testify to the vision of Bavaria’s fairytale King. You’ll visit then Linderhof Castle, a French rococo-style castle inspired by Versailles itself and surrounded by immaculately manicured gardens. Conclude the day in the charming village of Oberammergau, renowned for its painted façades and Passion Play tradition. Return to your hotel in Füssen. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Leave the Alps behind as you travel to Munich, Bavaria’s cosmopolitan capital. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and time to rest. In the afternoon, you will take part of a city tour in Munich, the capital of the state of Bavaria, third largest city in Germany, behind Berlin and Hamburg. Its native name, München, is derived from the Old High German Munichen, meaning "by the monks‘place". The city's name derives from the monks of the Benedictine order who founded the city; hence, the monk depicted on the city's coat of arms. Walk with your guide through the historic city center, including Karlstor Gate, the Cathedral of Munich (Frauenkirche), the Odeon Square and Marienplatz (Marien Square)  where the city hall is located.  After the city tour, rest of the day free for private activities. In the evening, indulge in an authentic Bavarian experience with a farewell dinner at the legendary Hofbräuhaus in Munich. Step into a centuries-old beer hall, where the atmosphere is alive with the sounds of laughter, music, and clinking steins. Savor classic Bavarian dishes bursting with flavor, from crispy pork knuckles and hearty sausages to tender schnitzels and savory pretzels. Pair your meal with a stein of Hofbräuhaus' iconic beer, brewed according to centuries-old traditions and served with a frothy head that beckons you to take a sip. As you dine, enjoy live music from a lively band playing traditional Bavarian tunes, creating a festive atmosphere that invites you to raise your glass in celebration. Whether you're sharing a meal with friends, family, or fellow travelers, a dinner at the Hofbräuhaus is an unforgettable culinary journey through Bavarian culture and hospitality. Prost!
