Our Overnight Visit program offers visitors to Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Chiang Mai an unrivalled opportunity to spend time interacting with and observing elephants in a peaceful, natural setting. Gain a deep insight into elephant behavior and get to know these beautiful animals on an individual level as you participate in a variety of rewarding activities, and create cherished lifelong memories.
The Overnight Visit program begins by following the ‘Full Day’ Visit itinerary, including the feeding, bathing, and ‘mud spa’ activities. At around 15:30 on the first day of your visit, you will say goodbye to the visitors participating in the ‘Full Day’ program, and transfer to your place of accommodation for the night. The following day, you will visit several Elephant Jungle Sanctuary locations, participating in a range of activities specially designed to offer visitors an introduction to elephant care, and a unique opportunity to meet and observe elephants in a natural setting.

08.00am. : Pick up from your hotel or accommodation
(Drive approximately 1.5 hours South of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas.)
Arrive at the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary.
Learn about the elephants and change into traditional Karen clothing.
Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the elephants.
Take a short walk (1.5 km) with elephants
(Please don't forget to bring a walking shoes)
Mud Spa with the elephants
Walk with the elephants to a river and bathe them.
After one day guests leave, relax with the elephant caretakers local people and elephants.
Spend the night at one of our peaceful Elephant Jungle Sanctuary locations. (Overnight)
Day 2 : Assist the Mahouts with their morning duties
Trek through jungle terrain to another Elephant Jungle Sanctuary location and meet a new family of elephants
Enjoy a lunch of traditional Thai food
Relax, swim, or spend time with our elephants

Round-trip transfer to/from your hotel in Chiang Mai (We offer a free transfer service to all places of accommodation within a 5km radius of Chiang Mai’s old city. Transport from locations outside this area will incur a surcharge)
Customers will be collected in a 9 seater, air conditioned van for the first part of the journey. A change of vehicle, to a single- or dual-cab 4x4s with sheltered bench seating is necessary for the final 20 minutes of the transfer.
