About this tour
Rich in original pieces, memorabilia, statues, articles, posters, FantaCinema thrills young and old with a tour that tells how the cinema of fantasy was born and how it developed and offers cult objects such as the famous DeLorean, "the machine of tempo ”original used by Zemeckis from the film“ BACK TO THE FUTURE ”; the original costumes from "ALIEN" and "STAR WARS"; the section dedicated to Harry Potter and the one dedicated to the sword fight between the medieval-fantasy warriors of Game of Kings.
Everything is seasoned with the soundtracks of cult films that alternate evoke strong emotions, reviving the magic of mythical scenes of which we would like to be the protagonists!
FantaCinema is located in Module 1 of the Cotton Warehouses, in the Porto Antico area of Genoa, a few minutes walk from the Aquarium.
The itinerary includes: a "historical" section that describes the birth of the Seventh Art through the exhibition of the Magic Lanterns, colored slides for lanterns and optical cameras and projections of short films and films from the first cinema; a section dedicated to filming, editing and projection tools and an engaging section dedicated to entertainment and films that have made entire generations dream with life-size statues, original costumes, a collection dedicated to the Lord of the Rings and sets of famous films from Pirates of the Caribbean to King Kong, Batman and more.
