About this tour
Chen Clan Ancestral Hall
Also known as Chen Clan Academy (Zhongshan 7th Road, Liwan District), it was initiated in 1888 and completed in 1894. Funded jointly by Chen clans from 72 counties in Guangdong, it is a clan-shared ancestral hall. A typical Guangfu-style ancestral hall covering nearly 15,000 square meters, it follows a "three-entry, three-road, nine-hall, two-wing" layout with six courtyards and eight corridors. Its doors, windows, and other parts are decorated with six types of crafts (wood carving, stone carving, etc.). Known as "the Pearl of Lingnan Architectural Art", it was listed as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit in 1988.
Yongqingfang
Located at No. 99 Enning Road, Liwan District, it is a model of urban micro-renewal. Blending Lingnan style with modern creativity, it preserves Xiguan features like arcades and wooden sliding doors. It houses Bruce Lee's Ancestral Home and the Cantonese Opera Art Museum, and offers intangible cultural heritage (ICH) craftsmanship experiences. The Moon Bridge, lit up at night, is a popular photo spot.
Shamian
Situated at Nos. 53-54 Shamian North Street, Liwan District, it was a British and French concession in the 19th century. With over 150 European-style buildings (neoclassical, Gothic, etc.), it is known as the "Open-Air World Architecture Museum". The foreign-style buildings, old trees, and river views complement each other, making it ideal for strolling and photography. It is also called "Guangzhou's 9th Scenic Spot".
Canton Tower
Nicknamed "Xiaomanyao" (Slender Waist) (Yuejiang West Road, Haizhu District), it is Guangzhou's landmark. With a total height of 600 meters (454 meters for the main tower), it is China's tallest and the world's third-tallest observation tower. Integrating sightseeing, high-altitude amusement, and dining, it has attractions like a 488-meter outdoor observation deck and the world's tallest horizontal Ferris wheel, allowing visitors to overlook the entire city or experience thrilling rides.
Pearl River Night Cruise
A "tourism card" of Guangzhou, its route covers areas from Baietan to Guangzhou Bridge. Tourists board ships at docks like Xidi and Tianzi to enjoy scenic spots such as "Baietan Moonlit Night", and buildings along the river (Canton Tower, Nanfang Building, etc.). Cultural and historical sites like Xinghai Concert Hall and the Memorial Monument to the Shaji Massacre can also be seen along the way.
