7 Days Mid Range Tanzania Safari

Pick up from Arusha hotel at 8.00 am then take 3 hours drive to Tarangire National Park and you will have full day game drive inside this park later you will drive to Marera view lodge for dinner and overnight . The distance from Arusha to Tarangire National Park is 115 km and covers 2800 square km. Wild animals drink water from Tarangire river where the name Tarangire come from. The park has major attractions such as large number of elephants , tree climbing pythons and baobab trees. Also you will be able to see lions, leopards and other animals

After waking up this morning you will have full breakfast, pack your luggage in the safari jeep, then you will start to do en-route game drive to Serengeti with your packed lunch inside the jeep. On the way you will be able to view beautiful of Great Rift valley, view of Ngorongoro crater and you will reach Serengeti around noon.

You will have an afternoon game drive in central Serengeti where you will be able to see the sunset, and after you will have dinner and overnight at Serengeti heritage tented lodge inside Serengeti

Major attraction in Serengeti are endless plain and great Serengeti wildebeest migration which involve 1.5 million herbivores and  predators use to move from one area to another almost all parts of Serengeti because of drought. Our driver guide will make sure you will able to see part of wildebeest migration. The movement of vast numbers of the Serengeti’s wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra, and smaller numbers of Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle and eland

In this day you will wake up early morning and have your full breakfast ,then you will start your game drive inside Serengeti , as you will have full day in Serengeti our driver guide will drive you to the key areas in Serengeti.

We will make sure that you will follow wildebeest migration wherever they will be during your tour with us.

The Great migration varies every year the best chance of seeing it is during June up to September while the wildebeest calving is from January to March ,for the July up to September our driver will be able to take you to northern Serengeti where you be able to see the great wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River. A million and a half of these majestic animals’ travel throughout the year as they look for fresh grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for better water sources and after your full day game drive you head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight at Serengeti heritage tented lodge

After breakfast morning game drive en-route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive for lunch at Ngorongoro Farm Lodge. Afternoon spend at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm Lodge

You will wake up around 5.30 am for your breakfast, after breakfast you will descend to Ngorongoro crater floor where you will able to see all big five, also you will see different types of birds, black rhino available inside crater. In this day you will have your lunch inside the crater while watching nature and high concentrations of flamingos.

Later after 6 to 7 hours game drive inside crater floor you will start ascend from crater passing through campsite for packing all luggage inside the jeep ready to drive back to Marera view lodge for dinner and overnight. On this day after crater tour you will have a walking tour inside mto wa mbu village where you will experience how local people live, see banana plantations and you can taste local food.

After your breakfast you will head to lake Manyara for a full day game drive, inside the park you will be able to see tree climbing lions and a lot of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake and you will visit a hot spring . Also the same day you will visit Maasai boma where you will see how they live and learn their culture and traditions then later drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
