Itinerary
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport, our G Experiences representative will assist you and drive you to Darjeeling. Upon reaching Darjeeling, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. The rest of the day is free for leisure and personal activities.
Overnight at Hotel.
Early in the morning, visit Tiger Hills (8,364 ft / 2,550 m) around 4.00 AM to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way back to your hotel, visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop, and spend some time enjoying leisure activities. After freshening up at the hotel, proceed for a guided tour of Darjeeling. Visit the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, and Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays), and a Tea Estate. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities. After the guided tour, you may go shopping or return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Kalimpong. Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. After freshening up, proceed for a guided tour of Kalimpong. Visit Durpin Dara Viewpoint, Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Monastery, Flower & Orchid Nurseries, and Dello Hill. After the guided tour, you may go shopping or return to your hotel for the night.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Gangtok, stopping en route for river rafting on the Teesta River (at your own cost). Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. In the evening, enjoy leisure time exploring the local market or relaxing at your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided tour of Gangtok. Visit Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, and Tashi Viewpoint, followed by the seven-point tour, which includes. Rumtek Monastery or Banjhakri Waterfalls, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (closed on Sundays), Cable Car (own ticket), Research Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), Do-Drul Chorten (Stupa), and Botanical Garden & Flower Show. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Phuentsholing (Bhutan border). Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Phuentsholing, visiting Gumpha Mandir, Karbandi Monastery, and Zangtopelri (Dzong-style architecture and temple). After completing the sightseeing tour, continue the drive to Thimphu. Upon arrival, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. After freshening up, enjoy a walk through the nearby streets, explore local markets, try street food, and interact with the local people. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided tour of Thimphu. Visit National Memorial Chorten (built in memory of the third King of Bhutan, who reigned from 1952-1972), Buddha Dordenma, Tashichho Dzong, BBS Tower, Government-run Handicraft Emporium, Folk Heritage Museum, National Textile Museum, National Institute of Traditional Medicine (outside view), and the Zoo. Please note that some landmarks may be closed on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Punakha, stopping en route at Dochula Pass (3,050 m) to enjoy some of the most enchanting views of Bhutan. Also visit Talo Monastery and Chimi Lhakhang. Upon arrival in Punakha, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. After freshening up, proceed for a guided tour of Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong, strategically built at the confluence of the Pho Chu (male) and Mo Chu (female) rivers by the first Shabdrung of Bhutan, Ngawang Namgyel, in 1637. Also visit Lingkana Palace. After the guided tour, you may go shopping or return to your hotel for the night.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and drive to Paro, stopping en route at Wangdue Phodrang to visit Wangdue Dzong and the local market. After completing the visit, continue the drive to Paro, with stops at Druk Wangyel Monastery, Dochula Chorten, and Simtokha Dzong. Upon arrival in Paro, check in to your pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day guided tour of Paro. Visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong), followed by a leisurely walk to Rinpung Dzong. Continue to Drukgyel Dzong, the ruined fortress where Bhutanese forces successfully deterred several invasions by the Tibetan army. Also visit the famous Paro Taktsang, a sacred Vajrayana Buddhist site perched on the cliffs of the upper Paro Valley. In the evening, pay a visit to Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest and most sacred shrines in Bhutan.
