Private Guided Snorkeling at Santa Maria & Chileno Bays, Los Cabos

A professional bilingual snorkeling guide (English and Spanish) is included exclusively for your private group throughout the experience at Santa Maria and Chileno Bays.

Your guide provides a safety briefing, assists with snorkeling equipment, and explains proper snorkeling techniques before entering the water.

During both snorkeling sessions, the guide accompanies participants in the water, helping them explore the marine environment while adapting the pace and route to the group's swimming abilities, experience, and ocean conditions.

The guide also shares information about the local marine ecosystem and the species that may be encountered in the Sea of Cortez.

All snorkeling activities are fully guided and begin directly from the beach. No boats are used.

Complimentary bottled water and light snacks, including granola bars, are provided during the private guided snorkeling experience.

Breakfast, lunch, and full meals are not included in this tour.

Civil liability insurance is included as part of the tour operator's coverage, subject to the terms, conditions, coverage limits, and exclusions of the applicable insurance policy.

Coverage applies within the scope of the operator's policy during the guided snorkeling activities. Any claims are subject to review and determination by the insurance provider.

This coverage does not replace personal travel or medical insurance.

Complimentary round-trip transportation is included from selected hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor in an air-conditioned Chevrolet Express or Toyota Hiace van.

The experience begins at Santa Maria Bay, followed by a short transfer by vehicle to Chileno Bay for the second snorkeling session. Return transportation from Chileno Bay to the original hotel or designated meeting point is included.

Exact pick-up times and meeting instructions are confirmed after booking, according to the agreed private tour schedule and hotel location.

Hotels outside the designated complimentary transportation area, including Hard Rock, Nobu, Diamante, Rancho San Lucas, and Four Seasons Costa Palmas, are not included in hotel pick-up service. Guests staying at these properties meet at OXXO Plaza Gali in Cabo San Lucas.

Guests arriving independently may arrange to meet at OXXO Plaza Gali or directly at Santa Maria Beach, subject to advance confirmation.

Cruise passengers also meet at OXXO Plaza Gali, not at the cruise pier. Detailed walking directions are provided with the booking confirmation.

Both snorkeling locations are accessed directly from the beach. No boats are used.

SCHEDULE AND DURATION

• Available daily, with flexible departures between 7:30 AM and 1:00 PM, subject to availability and ocean conditions.

• Approximately 2.5 hours of snorkeling activities, plus transportation time.

• The time displayed during online booking is a reference. Your preferred departure time, exact hotel pick-up time, and meeting instructions are confirmed after booking.

• Morning departures are recommended for generally calmer ocean conditions.

PRIVATE BOOKING AND GROUP SIZE

• This experience is exclusively reserved for your group.

• A minimum booking charge equivalent to 2 participants applies, even if only one guest attends.

• Solo travelers may book by selecting the actual number of guests. No additional participants need to be registered.

PARTICIPATION AND SAFETY

• Suitable ages: 6–70 years.

• Swimming ability, reasonable physical fitness, and comfort in the ocean are required.

• Not recommended for pregnant guests or individuals with serious back or heart conditions. Not wheelchair accessible.

• Guided snorkeling takes place at Santa Maria and Chileno Bays, with direct beach entry at both locations. No boats are used.

• Life jackets are mandatory during water activities.

• The route and snorkeling locations may be adjusted according to ocean conditions. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.

• If High Tide cancels due to unsafe conditions, guests may reschedule or receive a full refund.

TRANSPORTATION AND MEETING POINTS

• Round-trip transportation is included from selected hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor.

• No complimentary hotel pick-up from Hard Rock, Nobu, Diamante, Rancho San Lucas, or Four Seasons Costa Palmas. Guests staying there meet at OXXO Plaza Gali.

• Independent travelers may arrange to meet at Santa Maria Beach or OXXO Plaza Gali in advance. Return transportation from Chileno Bay is included.

• Cruise passengers meet at OXXO Plaza Gali, not at the pier. Allow sufficient time for tender transfers.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATIONS

• Please provide your hotel name or meeting arrangements when booking.

• Arrive punctually; guides wait a maximum of 5 minutes. No printed voucher is required.

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure. Later cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.

• Medical refund requests require a same-day medical certificate and notification before departure.
