Arrive early to find a good seat and prepare yourself for the Sema Ceremony. It's a wonderful opportunity to meditate on the spiritual atmosphere before the ceremony begins.

20:00 – 21:00 | Sema Ceremony
Be transported into a sacred world of Mevlevi music and whirling dance. The ceremony will start with the Noble Eulogy to the Prophet Muhammad, followed by the flute solo, and the Circling of Veled. The ceremony unfolds in four selam segments, each with its own unique meaning.
The 13-member group will perform in perfect harmony, including the Postnishin, Head Whirling Dervish, 5 Whirling Dervishes, and mutrip delegation (6 musicians). The powerful music, composed by Itri and other composers like Pir Adil Çelebi, will accompany the sacred whirling dance. The Ney (flute), oud, and kettledrum will fill the air with mystical sounds, drawing you into the heart of Sufism.

Post-Ceremony: Reflection and Departure
21:00 – 21:30 | Post-Ceremony Discussion
After the ceremony, take some time to reflect on the experience and discuss the meanings of the ritual with the group or guide. This is a good opportunity to ask questions about the Sema and its spiritual significance.

21:30 | Return to Hotel
After the ceremony, you can either return to your hotel or take a peaceful walk in Konya, absorbing the serene energy left by the ritual.
