Performance form: The artists hold a stick behind a white curtain to manipulate the silhouettes of shadow puppets, coordinating with local singing styles such as Bowl Opera, Meihu Opera, and Qin Opera, accompanied by gongs, drums, and strings, to interpret myths, history, and folk stories. Battles of people and horses and changes in the sky can be achieved through shadow puppets. Viewing experience: Watching traditional live performances in dedicated halls allows you to closely observe the manipulation techniques of behind-the-scenes artists, understand the historical origins of shadow puppetry, and experience the light and shadow art passed down from folk temple fairs in old Xi'an. Camel Bell Legend Silk Road Live Performance Show: Located in the Huaxia Grand Theater of Culture and Tourism, it is known as a "running live performance" with the ancient Silk Road as the main storyline. It is a phenomenal cultural and tourism performance in Xi'an. The entire performance lasts about 60 minutes and consists of 7 chapters: the prologue "Time Returns", "Farewell to You for Thousands of Miles", "Wolf Path in Danger", "Foreign Customs", "Auspicious Rain Cleanses Dust", "Welcome Lang Returns", and "The Prosperous Age of China". Story plot: The story tells of a Tang Dynasty camel caravan bidding farewell to their loved ones, setting off from Chang'an and heading west through the Gobi Desert. After enduring numerous hardships such as avalanches, volcanoes, and wolf pack attacks, they traveled to the Western Regions for trade. After enduring hardships, they returned to their homeland loaded with goods, celebrating the ancient pioneers' fearless Silk Road spirit and intertwining emotional stories of separation, longing, adventure, and reunion.
