After breakfast, proceed to visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, an orphanage, nursery, and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants. After breakfast, enjoy a full day at leisure to relax and explore the city of Kandy. In the late afternoon, take a stroll around Kandy Lake; the serene atmosphere invites you to linger and soak in the surroundings. This evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth, a deeply significant Buddhist site that houses a relic of Buddha’s tooth and is guarded by elephants. The temple attracts thousands of pilgrims from around the world. Conclude the day with a traditional Sri Lankan cultural performance.

After an early breakfast, embark on a morning boat safari, a unique way to observe wildlife from the water. With a little luck, you may spot crocodiles, deer, muntjac, water buffalo, sambar deer, leopards, monkeys, wild boars, and elephants swimming between islands or bathing at the lake’s edge. After the morning safari, return to your hotel to refresh before heading out for an afternoon safari. In the afternoon, enjoy a wildlife safari in Gal Oya National Park by jeep. The park is rich in flora and fauna, serving as a sanctuary for 32 species of terrestrial mammals and 150 species of birds. Key species include common langurs, the endemic toque macaque, leopards, sloth bears, elephants, wild boars, deer, and water buffalo. This is also an excellent opportunity for wildlife photography.

Sigiriya is renowned for its golden-hued granite rock, rising dramatically from the flat wilderness of scrubland, which transforms into a water garden during the rainy season. After breakfast, visit the Dambulla Rock Temple, built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and designated a World Heritage Site. It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples. The complex consists of five caves with over 2,000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceilings-the largest area of paintings found in the world. It houses over 150 images of Buddha, including a colossal 14-meter figure carved directly from the rock. After your sightseeing, return to your hotel.
