After breakfast, continue your journey along Sri Lanka’s beautiful southern coastline towards Ambalangoda, a region rich in culture, history, and natural beauty. En route, visit the magnificent Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved colonial forts in Asia. Originally built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and later fortified by the Dutch, the fort beautifully blends European architecture with South Asian traditions. Wander through charming cobblestone streets lined with colonial buildings, boutique cafés, churches, museums, and stunning ocean views.

Continue to Meetiyagoda, Sri Lanka’s famous moonstone mining region. Discover the fascinating history and traditional mining process of the precious Moonstone, a gemstone admired since ancient Roman and Greek civilizations for its mystical beauty and connection to lunar legends.
