Altinkaya Dam

Altinkaya Dam is a rock-fill dam located in Samsun Province's Bafra district. It was built to gather the Kizilirmak River’s waters and to use it for irrigation and hydropower. It also supplies the Lake of Derbent and was built in 1988.
