Menucihr Mosque

Menucihr Mosque, also called Emir Manucehr Mosque, was built by Ebu’l Manuçehr Bey of the Shaddadid dynasty in the 11th century during the Seljuk reign. It is situated in the medieval city of Ani in Kars Province. The mosque has geometrical stone decorations on its dome, and it has an octagonal minaret, which are classical architectural features of Central Asian Turks.
