Seljuk Palace

Although there is no constant date about when the Seljuk Palace was built, it has been considered that it was built in 1064 by Ebu'l Menucehr Bey. It is situated on a hill near the Ani ruins. It has a rectangular plan, and only the ground floor and basement floor could be reached today. The wooden first floor collapsed. The decoration of the palace is in classical Seljuk ornament style, which dates to the 12th century.
