We go fishing with an angle to lake Suksijärvi. You can fish from the landing stage, boat or canoe. As you concentrate on watching the movements of the floating bobber on the surface, your thoughts will be free from everyday worries.After fishing, we enjoy our catch in a cosy wilderness cottage traditionally with potatoes. If we don’t catch fish, we'll enjoy anyway a delicious fish soup. After the meal, we will go to the local reindeer farm to learn about reindeer herding and life of reindeer. We drive to the Lompolo wilderness village and Soma Hideout, where we jump to a snowmobile-drawn sledge and head out for our spot of fishing. Ice fishing is a traditional, Lappish way of fishing in winter and involves drilling a hole in the ice and waiting to see if the fish hiding under the ice will agree to take a bite.While fishing, we also enjoy the warmth of a campfire and roasting sausages. After fishing we will visit a local reindeer farm to learn about reindeer and reindeer farming. At the end of the adventure we will head to the atmospheric wilderness cabin of Soma Hideout for a delicious fish soup lunch.Prices: 249 € / Adult, 189 € / children 4-13 y.o. - Not suitable for infants 

We take a minibus to the wilderness village of Lompolo, where light pollution and noise are left far behind. In the complete darkness and silence, the Northern Lights are at their most impressive. In the light of hand lanterns, we head from Soma Hideout on snowshoes to a cosy hut to wait for the Northern Lights. There we enjoy roasting sausages and warming up with hot chocolate.You can never be sure when the northern lights will rise, but it's always worth hoping. The wide view north from the lake makes it a great place to see the northern lights. It's nice to stop off at the hut to warm up while you wait.Price: 149 € / person, not suitable for children under 14 years old.

There we roast sausages and marshmallows and enjoy them with authentic coffee brewn on open fire.As we wander through the snowy forest, all we hear is the sound of our snowshoes. When you stop, you can hear the sound of complete silence, have you ever heard it before? During the hike we may also see animals or the tracks they left in the snow. We set off into the colorful autumn landscape to conquer the northernmost fell of the municipality of Kittilä, Puljutunturi. During the 3 km hike you will hear interesting stories about the surrounding nature and the local, nature-oriented way of life.At an open hut on the fell we will roast sausages and braids crêpes and brew a good cup of coffee on campfire. We may see reindeer already on the hike, but that will be confirmed when we visit later a local reindeer farm to feed the reindeer.Price: 229 € / person.
