In the afternoon, visit Angkor National Museum, learn the story how Khmer Empire has been established before heard about 10km to visit the silk farm owned by Artisans d’ Angkor. Entrance to the silk farm is free and it comes with 30-minute tour with a guide who will walk you through the different steps of fine silk production from the growing of mulberry plant to the work of the workers on the loom machines.

Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, we drive to explore the Roluos group. The Roluos group lies 15km (10 miles) southwest of Siem Reap and includes three temples - Bakong, Prah Ko and Lolei - dating from the late 9th century and corresponding to the ancient capital of Hariharalaya, from which the name of Lolei is derived. Remains include 3 well-preserved early temples that venerated the Hindu gods. The bas-reliefs are some of the earliest surviving examples of Khmer art. Modern-day villages surround the temples

In the afternoon continue to the unique brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, and continue to Ta Prohm. One of the area’s most beautiful temples, Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Its appeal lies in the fact that, unlike the other monuments of Angkor, it was abandoned and swallowed by the jungle, looking very much the ways most of the Angkor temples appeared when European explorers first stumbled upon them. Visit as well Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast - we drive 45 km to the north of Siem Reap to Kbal Spean (The head of the bridge or the river of the thousand lingams), trekking up to the hill 1.50 km take about 2 hour for the tour. The site consists of a series of stone carvings in sandstone formations carved in the river bed and banks. It is commonly known as the "Valley of a 1000 Lingas" or "The River of a Thousand Lingas". The motifs for stone carvings are mainly myriads of lingams (phallic symbol of Hindu god Shiva), depicted as neatly arranged bumps that cover the surface of sandstone bed rock, and lingam-yoni designs. Kbal Spean is described as "a spectacularly carved riverbed, set deep in the jungle to the northeast of Angkor". The river over which the bridge head exists is also known as Stung Kbal Spean, a tributary of the Siem Reap River that rises in the Kulen mountains north of Banteay Srei. The river bed cuts through sandstone formations and the many architectural sculptures of Hindu mythology have been carved within the sandstone. We drive down and visit the famous Banteay Srei (Citadel of Women). On the way back stop at Pradark Village, where you will see the villagers making palm sugar, handicraft for selling to tourist. It’s a nice chance for you to see the local people living at the country side with their struggling for daily life.

Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, we head to the Angkor complex, begin visit the stunning temples of Angkor Wat and admire the hundreds of fine bas-relief carvings depicting scenes from Hindu mythology by our Cambodian scholar will provide a background on Khmer history, culture, archaeology, and civilization. Next visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last capital of Angkor Period (AD 802-1432) until the 15th century, was indeed a Great City as its name implied. Bayon Temple, one of the most popular sites in Angkor complex and over 200 large faces caved on the 54 towers, which at that time represents the 54 provinces in The Khmer Empire, give this temple its majestic character, visit Phimean Akas Temple, Bapoun Temple, Terrace of the Elephant, Terrace of Leper King & Royal enclosure. Continue to visit Preah Khan temple. Built by the King Jayavarman VII, Preah Khan is, like Ta Prohm, a place of towered enclosures and shoulder-hugging corridors. Unlike Ta Prohm, however, Preah Khan is in a reasonable state of preservation and ongoing restoration efforts should maintain and even improve this situation.

Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, we drive to visit Kampong Phluk Floating Village, located at 16 km at north-south of Siem Reap. The villages are primarily Khmer and have about 3000 inhabitants between them. Flooded mangrove forest surrounds the area and is home to a variety of wildlife including crab-eating macaques. During the dry season when the lake is low (March – July), the buildings in the villages seem to soar atop their 6-meter stilts exposed by the lack of water. At this time of year many of the villagers move out onto the lake and build temporary houses. In the wet season when water level rises (Aug – February), the villagers move back to their permanent houses on the floodplain, the stilts now hidden under the water. Kampong Phluk's economy is, as one might expect, based in fishing, primary in shrimp harvesting. Take a paddle ride through the flooded forest before return to hotel.

Overnight at hotel.

Today is on your own leisure until transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination. End of base tour service.
