Next up is the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, built in the 11th century and added to the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites in 2010. Venture inside and explore the underground war bunker that played an important role in the armed conflict with America. Continue the Hanoi landmarks tour with a stroll through areas where sewing shops have been in family hands for generations, and people still practice the old ways, or admire the daily life of local people in the alley of Hanoi. Proceed to the millennia-old Temple of Literature and explore its role in the country’s past, as both a university and a temple. Finally, if you feel interested, make a stop at the last courtyard where Vietnamese traditional instruments contribute to the oriental feel. For travelers who are musicians, opportunities to play some notes will present themselves, all under the guidance of the artists. In the afternoon, head to the highly-acclaimed Vietnam Women’s Museum, offering wonderful insight into the lives of Vietnamese women. Learn historic and modern-day traditions centred on birth, weddings, motherhood, spirituality and more. Towards the end of the tour, embark on a walk through Hanoi’s Old Quarter. After breakfast, meet with your guide and head to the seaside port of Halong Bay. On board a deluxe cruise, one of the most beautifully traditional wooden junk, admire the sublime beauty of the limestone karts rising out of the water like giants. Your first day on the water promises a visit to a local Pearl Farm, and a leisurely cruise through the Kiem Lam area, a secluded bay within Cat Ba National Park. If you’re feeling adventurous, disembark here for a swim or go kayaking to discover sea caves and secluded bays that the bigger boats can’t reach. Back on board the junk, wrap up your evening with a Vietnamese cooking demonstration from the on board chefs before tucking in for a good night’s sleep on the water.

Wake up refreshed as the boat motors towards Surprise Cave, the biggest in Halong Bay. Board the tender for a short trip to the cave and prepare to be amazed - the entry to the cave is deceptively narrow but, once through, the cave opens up to a large chamber with impressive limestone formations. Surprise! Then it’s back to the boat for one last cruise to Halong Port, arriving in the early afternoon. From there, your guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival you’ll be met by a guide again and transferred to your hotel in Hoi An for a well-deserved rest.

Your itinerary for the next days is completely open. Lounge the days away or, should you choose to be productive, choose from optional local activities to partake in. After a relaxing couple of days, the tour continues southwards to the beach destination of Nha Trang. Aside from a lovely beach, Nha Trang has islands where you can snorkel and scuba dive in search of tropical fish and coral. The city’s hotels and resorts have rejuvenating mud baths and a remarkably robust nightlife scene as well. Enjoy a night out on the town or relax at your hotel.

Spend your time as you see fit. Nha Trang’s postcard-perfect beaches offer good reasons to do very little aside from swim and sunbathe! Be sure to visit some of the spectacular nearby islands, though. Highlights include Hon Mun Island, where you can snorkel and see tropical fish and coral, and Hon Tam Island, where you can relax on the beach. While the water just off the main-strip in Nha Trang is relatively clear, as soon as you head off from the mainland it becomes jaw-droppingly translucent. This morning your car will meet and transfer you the meeting point to take a luxury coach departing at 08:00 to Mui Ne. Enjoy a comfortable ride with free Wi–Fi on–board. You will arrive in Mui Ne at around noon 13:00. Your private transfer will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Mui Ne for check in your hotel. Spend your time as you see fit. Mui Ne is a coastal fishing town in the south-central Bình Thuan Province of Vietnam. The town is a ward of the city of Phan Thiet. Mui Ne and the other wards of Phan Thiet that stretch along the coast for approximately 50 kilometers have been transformed into a resort destination since the mid-1990s, when many visited the area to view the solar eclipse of October 24, 1995. Mũi Ne has two beaches: Ganh Beach and Suoi Nuoc Beach. Strong sea breezes make all three beaches very popular for kitesurfing and windsurfing. This morning depart from your hotel and drive approximately two hand a half hours to Vinh Long. After check-in on board, you will be welcomed with fresh rolled cotton towels. Your 1-day excursion will start from Vinh Long and depart from the pier in front of Cuu Long hotel at 10.00 am. Crossing Co Chien River, which is considered as one of the largest arm of Mekong River, then Cai Be Princess Sampan will also pass along An Binh and Binh Hoa Phuc islands, which are well-known for its orchard plantations. Later, the sampan will have a short stop at Tam Ho bonsais garden. Your cruise will continue on a narrow canal where you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes and luxuriant vegetation. Afterwards, Cai Be Princess Sampan will cruise through colorful floating markets. In these markets, you can see many local boats selling their home-made products such as tropical fruits and diverse vegetables. The sampan will pass through ancient Cai Be church towards Phu An hamlet. A short stop en route at local factories will allow you to witness how local goods like rice paste and coco candies are made. A gourmet lunch awaits you at a beautiful and wonderful Indochinese villa named Le Longanier, which is situated in a lush tropical garden by the river and surrounded by fruit orchards. After a sightseeing tour along beautiful canal, the cruise will end at 4.00 pm at Ba Bon Bridge, where on arrival you will transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City, arriving in afternoon.
