Itinerary
Your adventure starts with an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Arusha (departure at 07:00 or 08:00 AM). Please arrive at the airport at least one hour before departure. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your professional safari guide who will accompany you throughout the tour. Transfer to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2.5 hours drive).
Enjoy an exciting game drive in Tarangire, famous for its large elephant population and giant Baobab trees. Your guide will provide informative commentary about the wildlife and natural surroundings. Stop for a picnic lunch within the park during your safari.
In the evening, drive to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.

After breakfast, prepare for a full-day game drive in the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater spans over 20 kilometers wide and is approximately 600 meters deep. On clear days, the crater walls are visible from the bottom, offering breathtaking views.
Explore diverse habitats including grasslands, forests, and the soda lake known as Lake Makat. The crater is home to the famous Big Five: buffalo, black rhino, elephant, lion, and leopard. You may also see cheetahs, zebras, hippos, serval cats, hyenas, and wildebeests.
Return to Karatu in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight stay at Marera Valley Lodge.

After breakfast, enjoy a packed lunch as you travel to Lake Eyasi to visit the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Learn about the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers’ traditional lifestyle, including their hut construction and bush knowledge. Visit the Datoga tribe, skilled blacksmiths and beadworkers who supply the Hadzabe with arrowheads.
After a Swahili lunch and a 1-hour shopping stop at Mto wa Mbu, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar (approximately 1.5 hours).
