Depart from Arusha or Moshi in the morning and travel to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.
Explore the park’s diverse landscapes while searching for wildlife, including its famous large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other safari species. Tarangire is also well known for its impressive baobab trees, which create some of the park’s most iconic scenery.
After the game drive, continue to your budget campsite for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Budget public campsite in the Mto wa Mbu or Karatu area, or similar.
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive.
Explore the crater floor and enjoy excellent opportunities to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and other species that inhabit this remarkable ecosystem.
After the crater safari, return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive.
