After enjoying a box lunch, you'll board a motorized canoe for a breathtaking 2–3 hour ride down the narrow Cuyabeno River, where your eyes will be opened to the incredible biodiversity of the rainforest. Keep your camera ready as you might spot colorful birds, playful monkeys, and other wildlife along the riverbanks. Upon reaching the charming Amazon Lodge, you'll settle into your comfortable room before gathering for a welcome dinner. As the sounds of the jungle surround you, your guide will provide an informative briefing about the lodge, the Cuyabeno Reserve, and the exciting adventures that await in the coming days.
