Itinerary
Experience a full day adventure in the wild and land of the Rhinos with a chance to as well see the Chimpanzee Sanctuary and the Blind black rhino.Today we explore exotic Sweetwaters Sanctuary on two extensive game runs. Our camp also overlooks one of the busiest waterhole's in the area and offers elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game. This is Africa as Teddy Roosevelt saw it years ago when he led one of the first safaris to tour Africa in comfort and splendor. Our tents at Sweetwaters will remind us of this bygone era.
Have breakfast and check out for samburu national park, this spectacular place hosts some very unique wildlife such as the Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe; most of which are not easy to find south of the Equator. you arrive at lunch time. Check in at the lodge and have lunch. Then Afternoon game drive through the park.
Enjoy full day in Samburu Game Reserve with early morning and late afternoon game viewing with packed boxes. The mighty Ewaso Ng’iro North River meanders its way across these reserves giving life to this beautiful land. Local Doum Palms tangle their branches in the sky as if waving at the people, and provide the landscape with a beautiful touch. have an opportunity to see the beautiful landscape of northern Kenya, the highlands, distant views of Mount Kenya, the brown water river of Ewaso Nyiro and Samburu’s Special 5.
You will have breakfast at the lodge, after which you will depart to Solio Ranch and Game Reserve, Solio Ranch and Game Reserve is located within the vast Laikipia region. Solio Ranch (45,000 acres) is an amazing savannah nestled between Mt. Kenya and Aberdare Ranges; and both mountains are clearly visible from Solio on clear days. Solio Game Reserve, set up in 1970, is an amazing 19,000 acres allocated for the protection of rhinos. Both Black Rhinos and White Rhinos interact harmoniously in this great place. Solio ranch has the largest population of White Rhinos in the entire World. The rhinos bred here are often translocated into other conservation areas across the African continent. Other mammals here include African Lion, Spotted Hyena, Common Impala, Leopard, Cheetah and Cape Buffalo.
