About this tour
Embark on a 7 day Kilimanjaro trek via the Lemosho Route, one of the mountain’s most scenic approaches to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 metres, the highest point in Africa.
Starting from the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro, the route passes through lush rainforest, open moorland, alpine desert, and the high-altitude summit zone. Accompanied by an experienced English-speaking mountain guide and professional trekking crew, you will gradually ascend through a variety of landscapes while preparing for the final summit attempt.
The 7 day itinerary allows more time on the mountain for acclimatization and a more gradual trekking pace. Along the way, you will stay in shared mountain tents at designated campsites, with meals freshly prepared by the trekking cook.
As a group Kilimanjaro climb, the experience is shared with fellow trekkers while following the scenic Lemosho Route toward the summit and descending via Mweka.
