Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit the famous Giraffe Centre, where you can feed endangered Rothschild giraffes, or simply relax and recover from your journey.

After breakfast, depart for the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve via a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley or a short domestic flight. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, embark on your first thrilling game drive. Expect to see elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and various antelope species.

Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day picnic safari. This reserve is renowned for its high concentration of predators including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You may also visit a traditional Maasai village to learn about their culture and lifestyle. If traveling between July and October, witness the dramatic Great Migration river crossings.

After an early breakfast, transfer back to Nairobi (by road or flight). From Nairobi, take a scheduled flight to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Upon arrival, transfer to your lodge and enjoy a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for a flight (or drive via Ngorongoro) to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, begin your game drive en route to the camp. The Serengeti’s endless plains host massive herds of wildebeest and zebras, along with predators such as lions and hyenas.
Overnight: Safari lodge/tented camp

Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times to spot wildlife. Watch lions hunting, cheetahs sprinting across the plains, and large herds grazing. Optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise offers a breathtaking aerial view (extra cost).

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 600 meters into the crater for a spectacular game drive. This natural wildlife haven is home to the rare black rhino, large prides of lions, elephants, flamingos, and hippos.
Overnight: Lodge on crater rim or Karatu

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive along the Tarangire River, where animals gather, especially during the dry season. The park offers a quieter, more intimate safari experience.
Overnight: Lodge in Tarangire or Arusha

After breakfast, return to Arusha. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your incredible East African safari adventure.
