Itinerary
Accommodation: Hotel
Meet our representatives around the terminal gate upon landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport. They will welcome you and escort you to the hotel in Thamel. It will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to reach the hotel from the airport. Once you are all settled in the hotel, you are free to explore your surrounding area.
Thamel is the tourist hub in Kathmandu. There are many restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs, hotels, souvenir shops, gear shops, etc. Later in the day, we will meet you in our office for final trek preparation. Your team leader will brief you on the trek. After that, we will begin packing our duffel bags. You can also do shopping if anything is mission and end the day with a delicious dinner.
The Kathmandu to Pokhara car ride is quite comfortable and very scenic. We will leave the city early in the morning and follow a smooth highway that goes alongside verdant hills and the Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers. We will use a nice tourist standard vehicle as per the group size. The team leader will drop you at the hotel upon reaching Pokhara. We will stay in Lakeside, the tourist hub in Pokhara.
You can do any last-minute shopping for your trek here as well. Explore the tranquil Phewa Lake and enjoy boating on it if you want. The views of Mount Machhapuchhre and Dhaulagiri are the highlights of this day. The Lakeside Market is as vibrant as Thamel. Tourists love this city.

Our budget Annapurna base camp trek begins from today onwards. After a big breakfast in Pokhara, we will drive to Nayapul. From here, the trail starts. We will trek through forested hills and gradually ascend to Ghandruk, a beautiful village mostly resided by Gurungs and Magars.
On the way, you will trek past small settlements like Birethanti, Syauli Bazar, Chimrung, Chane, Kimche, and others. Cross suspension bridges and trek through lush rhododendron forests. On this day, we will get to witness superb views of Mt. Hiunchuli, Mt. Machhapuchhre, and Annapurna South.

Leaving Ghandruk, we will trek to Sinuwa. The trail first ascends to Chhomrong Danda and continues along a downhill route to Komrong Khola. From here, we will ascend to Chhomrong village via lush forests. It is a big village. Further, the trail descends to a river and follows an uphill route that leads to Sinuwa. On the way, we will get to see stunning mountain views.

The trail goes through lush forests from Sinuwa to Deurali. Starting the trek from Sinuwa, we will trek past settlements called Bamboo and Dovan. The trail also goes through Bamboo forests. If you are trekking in the spring season, the trail blooms with hundreds of rhododendrons and many other wildflowers. On the way, we will also trek past a beautiful waterfall.

Today, we will be reaching the Annapurna base camp. We will leave Deurali early in the morning. Following a river bed, the trail ascends to Bagar. From here, we will walk for a few hours before reaching the Machhapuchhre Base Camp. It is a virgin mountain, which no one has climbed yet.
Here, we will take a short lunch break and continue trekking on a steep, rugged trail. The trail enters the Annapurna Sanctuary and gradually ascends along rocky, glacial terrain to the Annapurna base camp. We will be surrounded by tall mountains all around us at the base camp.

After a warm breakfast, we will leave the Annapurna base camp and trek back to Bamboo. Following the same trail, we will descend to Machhapuchhre base camp and keep descending via lush forests to Bamboo. On the way, we will enjoy lovely landscapes and mountain panoramas.

From Bamboo, we will follow a different route and descend to Jhinu Danda. The trail goes through dense forests and uneven hillsides. We will trek past Khuldighar and then Chomrong village. Further, trekking past a lovely sheep farm, we will reach Jhinu Danda. Here, we can enjoy natural hot springs by paying a few extra bucks.

Today is our last day of trekking. From Jhinu Danda, we will descend following a dusty road. We will be following the Modi Khola. It is an easy descent to Nayapul. From here, we will use a local jeep and drive back to Pokhara. We will spend the night in Pokhara, relaxing and enjoying our time here.

After an early break, we will drive back to Kathmandu. The ride will be smooth and comfortable like before. The landscapes along the highway are superb. In the late evening, we will gather for a farewell dinner.
