Itinerary
Upon arrival at Amman Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with immigration procedures and guide you to your transportation. From there, you’ll head to your hotel in Amman to check-in and settle in. You may take it easy and rest up for the adventure-packed days ahead.
After breakfast. Start your tour of Jordan by taking a short bus trip north to the Mamluk fortress of Ajlun 69KM, with its amazing views over the Jordan valley, The marvels of nature and the genius of medieval Arab military architecture have given northern Jordan two of the most important ecological and historical attractions in the Middle East: the sprawling pine forests of the Ajloun-Dibbine area, and the towering Ayyubid castle at Ajloun, which helped to defeat the Crusaders eight centuries ago. Locals often take advantage of the green landscapes of Ajloun to take a break from city life and connect with nature. followed by a visit to the Graeco-Roman city of Jerash18KM , the best preserved of its kind outside of Rome. Then is known (GADARA) Little is known of the earliest history of Gadara, a hilltop site in the north-west corner of Jordan with grand views over Lake Tiberias, the Yarmouk River and the Golan Heights 67KM. Return to Amman and spend the night there.
After Breakfast, we will visit Amman, Amman city tour begins when driver picks you up from hotel to head the Amman citadel –also known as Jebel AlQalaea- the most famous and well know spot of city, Citadel is one of seven mounts occupy the capital city of Amman which has many parts dated back to the B.C periods, besides temple of great Hercules, Ayyubaid watching tower, and the great hand statue. Next, you will visit the circle-half shaped roman theatre which dated back to ancient Roman times and was used to be used for concerts and musical shows. Theatre is up to 6000 persons and is still used until today for the same purpose. After that we will visit the Archeological Museum which houses ancient valuable objects and artifacts from ancient eras, before we move to see the Folklore Museum which shows a brief of Jordan history and heritage. Finally, we will shop some of traditional bazaars of city, then visit of the Desert Castles in the Eastern Desert of Amman 80KM. Jordan's desert castles, beautiful examples of both early Islamic art and architecture, stand testament to a fascinating era in the country's rich history. Their fine mosaics, frescoes, stone and stucco carvings and illustrations, inspired by the best in Persian and Graeco-Roman traditions, tell countless stories of the life as it was during the 8th century. Called castles because of their imposing stature, the desert complexes actually served various purposes as caravan stations, agriculture and trade centers, resort pavilions and outposts that helped distant rulers forge ties with local Bedouins. Several of these preserved compounds, all of which are clustered to the east and south of Amman, Overnight in Amman.
After breakfast, we will start our journey to Madaba, will be those mosaic-filled city of Madaba. Because the salt content is eight times that of most worlds’ oceans, you can float in the Dead Sea without even trying. Swimming in the Dead Sea is a truly unique experience not to be missed. Breakfast in dead sea then move to Kerak from the dead sea 45KM way to Kerak (alkharazeh) and is famous of its crusader fortress in the center of underground galleries, rooms and secret passageways and its thick defensive walls pierced by narrow arrow slits where crusader archers held out bravely but in vain for over 100 years. After we visit kerak castle our direction will be to little Petra 175KM (Beida) also known as Little Petra, and the place where the Nabateans used to entertain their guests. Overnight in Petra.
In the sixth day, there will be a visit to Petra, The ancient city of Petra is one of Jordan’s national treasures and by far its best known tourist attraction. Petra is the legacy of the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2,000 years ago. Admired then for its refined culture, massive architecture and ingenious complex of dams and water channels, Petra is a UNESCO World Heritages Site and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Inhabited by the Nabateans, Edomites and Romans, Petra brought together the knowledge and skill of these civilizations to create this world wonder. Caravans laden with incense, silks, spices and other exotic goods would rest at Petra. This site is one of Jordan’s UNESCO world heritage sites, -al-siq to treasury trail (main trail): This trail is the most visited trail in Petra, the trail starts from the visitor center of Petra through The Siq to The Treasury. While most tourists think that the trail ends at the ancient city’s main attraction, The Treasury, the main trail continues past the Siq, Royal Tombs, Colonnaded Street and ends by Qasr Al-Bint (The Girl’s Palace). Duration: This depends on the pace of the tourist but can take up to an hour from the visitors’ center to the Treasury. in the afternoon drive to Wadi Rum100km “The Valley of the Moon”, depicted as Mars in several Hollywood feature films Wadi Rum is an Arabian fairy-tale waiting to be discovered. Home to nomadic Bedouin tribes, Wadi Rum is a a quiet getaway of stars, sand, and sun; a perfect complement from Amman’s epicenter. Once inhabited by the Nabataeans of prehistoric times, Wadi Rum allows you to get lost in large landscapes and horizon lines. The calmness of the desert is sure calm your spirit and de-clutter your thoughts. Wadi Rum is waiting for you. This site is one of Jordan’s UNESCO world heritage sites, enjoy with traditional Bedouin dinner (ZARB) and overnight in traditional Bedouin camp
South in the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan’s largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world. Jeep Tour inside the Wadi for 2 hours. Watch the most beautiful view sun site while drinking a cup of traditional Bedouin tea. Transfer to the campsite inside the desert and proceed to the beautiful gulf city of Aqaba 60km, situated on the southern tip of Jordan, approximately 4 hours from the capital of Amman, Aqaba is a beach town with Jordanian appeal. Equipped with the local watering holes, to water sports, and a historical flair for those looking to revisit the past Aqaba is a delightful complement to the metropolitan appeal of Amman. Jordan’s only outlet to the sea, after few days adventure, we will have time to rest on the beaches of the Aqaba gulf in the red sea.
