Professional bilingual hiking guides (English and Spanish) accompany participants throughout the guided excursion to Fox Canyon (Cañón de la Zorra) and Sol de Mayo Waterfall, near Santiago, Baja California Sur.

Your guide provides a safety briefing before the hike, leads the group along the natural trails, and offers assistance when navigating rocky terrain, uneven surfaces, and stone steps.

Along the way, guests learn about the region's native plants, desert wildlife, geological formations, and the unique natural environment of the Sierra de la Laguna.

The guide adjusts the hiking pace according to the group's abilities and trail conditions, prioritizing safety throughout the experience.

At the waterfall and freshwater pool, the guide provides safety instructions and supervises the group's visit. Swimming is subject to water levels and local conditions.

An authentic Mexican lunch at a local restaurant in Miraflores is included after the guided hiking and waterfall experience.

Lunch includes a selection of traditional Mexican dishes, with vegetarian options available upon advance request.

Bottled water and light snacks are also provided during the excursion.

Civil liability insurance is included as part of the tour operator's coverage, subject to the terms, conditions, coverage limits, and exclusions of the applicable insurance policy.

Coverage applies within the scope of the operator's policy during the guided hiking and waterfall excursion. Any claims are subject to review and determination by the insurance provider.

This coverage does not replace personal travel or medical insurance.

Complimentary round-trip transportation is included from selected hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor in an air-conditioned Chevrolet Express or Toyota Hiace van.

The journey takes guests through the scenic desert and mountain landscapes of Baja California Sur toward Fox Canyon (Cañón de la Zorra), near Santiago.

Transportation between the hiking area, the lunch stop in Miraflores, and the original hotel or designated meeting point is included.

Exact hotel pick-up times and meeting instructions are confirmed after booking. Additional hotel pick-ups may be scheduled along the route.

Complimentary hotel pick-up is not available from Hard Rock, Nobu, Diamante, Rancho San Lucas, or Four Seasons Costa Palmas. Guests staying at these properties meet at OXXO Plaza Gali in Cabo San Lucas.

Cruise passengers also meet at OXXO Plaza Gali, not at the cruise pier. Detailed walking directions are provided with the booking confirmation.

Guests arriving independently may arrange a meeting point in advance.

Return transportation is included after the hiking experience and lunch. Travel times may vary depending on hotel location, traffic, and road conditions.

SCHEDULE AND DURATION

• Operating days: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

• Scheduled departure: 9:00 AM.

• Total duration: Approximately 6–6.5 hours, including transportation, hiking, waterfall visit, and lunch.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum recommended age: 6 years.

• Moderate physical fitness and good mobility are required.

• The hike covers approximately 5 km (3 miles) round-trip, including rocky trails, uneven surfaces, and natural stone steps.

• Participants should be comfortable walking on uneven terrain and hiking in warm outdoor conditions.

• This activity is not recommended for pregnant guests or individuals with serious back problems, heart conditions, mobility limitations, or medical conditions that may prevent safe participation.

• The tour is not wheelchair accessible.

• Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to join the activity.

HIKING AND WATERFALL SAFETY

• The hike takes place in Fox Canyon (Cañón de la Zorra), near Santiago, Baja California Sur.

• Certified bilingual guides accompany the group and provide safety instructions throughout the experience.

• Swimming in the natural freshwater pool is optional and subject to water levels, weather, and safety conditions.

• The route, hiking pace, and waterfall access may be adjusted according to trail conditions and participant abilities.

• If High Tide Los Cabos cancels the activity due to unsafe weather, trail conditions, or operational restrictions, guests will be offered the option to reschedule for another available date or receive a full refund.
