A professional bilingual hiking guide (English and Spanish) is included exclusively for your private group throughout the Fox Canyon (Cañón de la Zorra) and Sol de Mayo waterfall experience near Santiago, Baja California Sur.

Before beginning the hike, your guide provides a safety briefing, explains the trail conditions, and offers guidance for navigating rocky terrain, uneven surfaces, and natural stone steps.

Throughout the approximately 5 km (3-mile) hike, your guide shares information about the region's native plants, wildlife, geological formations, and the unique desert ecosystem of the Sierra de la Laguna.

The private format allows the guide to adapt the hiking pace to your group's abilities and interests while prioritizing safety.

At the waterfall and freshwater pool, your guide provides safety instructions and supervises the group's visit. Swimming is optional and subject to water levels, weather, and safety conditions.

An authentic Mexican lunch at a local restaurant in Miraflores is included after the private guided hiking and waterfall experience.

Lunch features traditional Mexican cuisine, with vegetarian options available upon advance request.

Complimentary bottled water and light snacks are also provided during the excursion.

Civil liability insurance is included as part of the tour operator's coverage, subject to the terms, conditions, coverage limits, and exclusions of the applicable insurance policy.

Complimentary round-trip transportation is included from selected hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor in an air-conditioned Chevrolet Express or Toyota Hiace van.

The scenic journey takes guests through the desert and mountain landscapes of Baja California Sur toward Fox Canyon (Cañón de la Zorra), near Santiago.

Transportation between the hiking area, the lunch stop in Miraflores, and the original hotel or designated meeting point is included.

Guests arriving independently may arrange a meeting point in advance.

Return transportation is included after the hiking experience and lunch. Travel times may vary depending on hotel location, traffic, and road conditions.

PRIVATE TOUR AND PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

• Private tour for 1–12 participants.

• Minimum booking charge: Equivalent to 3 participants.

• Solo travelers and couples are welcome and may book the experience by paying the minimum three-person rate.

• The tour is exclusively reserved for your group and is not shared with other travelers.

• Suitable ages: 6–70 years.

• Moderate physical fitness and good mobility are required.

• The hike covers approximately 5 km (3 miles) round-trip, including rocky trails, uneven surfaces, and natural stone steps.

• Participants should be comfortable walking on uneven terrain and hiking in warm outdoor conditions.

• This activity is not recommended for pregnant guests or individuals with serious back problems, heart conditions, mobility limitations, or medical conditions that may prevent safe participation.

• The tour is not wheelchair accessible.

• Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to join the activity.

HIKING AND WATERFALL SAFETY

• The hike takes place at Fox Canyon (Cañón de la Zorra), near Santiago, Baja California Sur.

• Professional bilingual guides accompany the group and provide safety instructions throughout the experience.

• Swimming in the natural freshwater pool is optional and subject to water levels, weather, and safety conditions.

• The route, hiking pace, and waterfall access may be adjusted according to trail conditions and participant abilities.

• If High Tide cancels the activity due to unsafe weather, trail conditions, or operational restrictions, guests will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

• Please arrive punctually at the confirmed meeting point or pick-up location. Guides wait a maximum of 5 minutes.

• No-shows and late arrivals are charged in full.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time of this private tour.

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure and no-shows are charged in full.

• Medical refund requests require an official doctor's certificate issued on the day of the activity and notification before the scheduled start time.

• Lightweight clothing suitable for hiking in warm weather.
