Cerritos Beach Surf Lessons with Mexican Lunch from Los Cabos

Professional bilingual surf instructors (English and Spanish) provide guidance throughout the surfing lesson at Cerritos Beach.

Instruction is adapted to each participant's experience and skill level, from beginners learning the fundamentals to experienced surfers looking to improve their technique.

A maximum ratio of one instructor for every three surfers ensures personalized attention, including safety instructions, surfing techniques, and assistance in the water.

All surfing activities are supervised by the instructors, with adjustments made according to ocean conditions and participant abilities.

A Mexican lunch at a local restaurant is included after the surfing activities.

Lunch features a selection of traditional Mexican dishes, including tacos, rice, beans, guacamole, and salsas, accompanied by one beverage.

Bottled water and light snacks are also provided during the excursion.

Vegetarian options are available upon advance request.

Civil liability insurance is included as part of the tour operator's coverage, subject to the terms, conditions, coverage limits, and exclusions of the applicable insurance policy.

Coverage applies within the scope of the operator's policy during the guided surfing activity. All claims are subject to review by the insurance provider.

This coverage does not replace personal travel or medical insurance.

Complimentary round-trip transportation is included from selected hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor in an air-conditioned Chevrolet Express or Toyota Hiace van.

The journey to Cerritos Beach follows the scenic Pacific coast of Baja California Sur, near Todos Santos. Additional hotel pick-ups may be scheduled along the route.

Exact pick-up times and meeting instructions are provided after booking. The scheduled tour departure is at 9:00 AM on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Hotels outside the designated complimentary transportation area, including Hard Rock, Nobu, Diamante, Rancho San Lucas, and Four Seasons Costa Palmas, are not included in hotel pick-up service. Guests staying at these properties meet at OXXO Plaza Gali in Cabo San Lucas.

Cruise passengers also meet at OXXO Plaza Gali, not at the cruise pier. Detailed walking directions are provided with the booking confirmation.

Guests arriving independently may arrange to meet directly at Cerritos Beach, subject to advance confirmation.

Return transportation to the original hotel or designated meeting point is included after the surfing lesson and lunch.

SEASON AND SCHEDULE

• Operating season: November 15 – March 15.

• Operating days: Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

• Scheduled departure: 9:00 AM.

• Total experience: Approximately 5.5 hours, including transportation, surfing activities, breaks, and lunch.

• Hotel pick-up times vary depending on location and are confirmed after booking.

• From March 15 to November 15, surf lessons are offered at Costa Azul Beach as a separate experience.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

• Suitable ages: 6–70 years.

• Suitable for beginners and intermediate surfers. More experienced surfers may receive coaching appropriate to their skill level.

• Basic swimming ability, reasonable physical fitness, and comfort in the ocean are required.

• A maximum ratio of one instructor for every three surfers is maintained.

• This activity is not recommended for pregnant guests or individuals with serious back problems, heart conditions, or medical conditions that may affect safe participation.

• The activity is not wheelchair accessible.

SURFING CONDITIONS AND SAFETY

• Surf lessons take place at Cerritos Beach on the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur, near Todos Santos.

• Instructors select suitable areas according to participants' abilities and daily ocean conditions.

• Surfing activities may be adjusted or canceled due to unsafe waves, currents, weather, or other safety considerations.

• If High Tide cancels the activity due to unsafe conditions, guests may reschedule or receive a full refund.

TRANSPORTATION AND MEETING POINTS

• Round-trip transportation is included from selected hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor.

• Complimentary hotel pick-up is not available from Hard Rock, Nobu, Diamante, Rancho San Lucas, or Four Seasons Costa Palmas.

• Guests staying at these properties meet at OXXO Plaza Gali in Cabo San Lucas.

• Guests arriving independently may arrange to meet directly at Cerritos Beach, subject to advance confirmation.

CRUISE PASSENGERS

• Cabo San Lucas is a tender port. Allow sufficient time for disembarkation and return to the ship.

• We recommend arranging priority tender service whenever possible.

• Cruise passengers meet at OXXO Plaza Gali, not at the cruise pier.

• The total excursion duration and ship departure time must be considered before booking.

BOOKING AND PUNCTUALITY

• Please provide your hotel name or confirm your meeting arrangements when booking.

• Arrive punctually at the confirmed pick-up location or meeting point.

• Guides wait a maximum of 5 minutes after the confirmed meeting time.

• Late arrivals and no-shows may result in forfeiture of the reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled start of this shared tour.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure and no-shows are charged in full.

• Medical refund requests require a medical certificate issued on the day of the activity and notification before the scheduled start time.

• If a cruise ship is unable to arrive or tender due to circumstances beyond the passenger's control, a refund may be requested with at least 12 hours' notice.
