Your adventure begins with a glorious flight into Paro Valley on one of our national carriers. The snow-capped mountains will greet you as you peer out of your window, setting the tone for an unforgettable journey.
The flight to Paro international airport offers one of the rare opportunities to see the spectacular view of some of the tallest mountain peaks in the world. The skies are clear normally from Mid-September to early June, allowing us to witness magnificent towering peaks of the Himalayan range.
You will be able to see Mount Jhomolhari (7,326m) - The second highest mountain in Bhutan, Mt.Kangchenjunga (8,596m), Mount Everest (8,848m)- The tallest mountain on the planet and many more peaks towering as high as 8,500 meters above sea level.
The remarkable and steep descent into the Paro Valley is an awe-inspiring beginning to your adventure of a lifetime.
Paro is the gateway to Bhutan, home to the only international airport. This is where you begin your journey to discover the magic of this enchanting country.

On the first day, we will take you on a scenic drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. As you journey through the winding roads, you'll catch glimpses of the crystal clear rivers and take a brief stop at a temple, crossing an old cantilever bridge.
As you approach the city, you'll be greeted by the gigantic Buddha statue of 169 ft., overlooking Thimphu city.
The panoramic view of the whole of Thimphu city and hills is a sight to behold, never failing to capture the viewer's eyes.
If you still have the energy for more sightseeing, your guide will take you to the Takin Preserve.
The Takin is the national animal of Bhutan, with the head of a goat and the body of a cow, making it a unique and fascinating creature to observe.
After dinner, we recommend taking a drive to Sangaygang to witness the night city lights from the top.
From this vantage point, you can also see the majestic Thimphu fort, illuminated with dazzling floodlights, capturing the hearts of many travellers.

After breakfast, you will be driving to Punakha - the old capital.
You will be greeted with glorious views of snow-capped mountains and the scenic beauty of Dochula Pass.
Dochula Pass lies in the mid-way to Punakha from Thimphu at an altitude of 3,100 meters above sea level. The pass is a popular location among tourists as it offers a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of the Himalayan mountain range.

The hike will take approximately 3 hours, depending on your speed and energy levels. As you make your way through the trail, you'll be surrounded by the wonders of nature, feeling a sense of awe and wonder at every turn.
After the hike, we will take you to explore the Phallus Village.
We will hike through the wonderful landscapes filled with lush greenery and rolling mountains amid vast spread of paddy fields, where you'll find trinket shops selling wooden phallus and phallus paintings on traditional Bhutanese houses.
The fertility temple is a famous attraction throughout Bhutan, known for inducing fertility for all the visitors who come here wishing for a child. You will be amazed by the cultural richness and traditions of Bhutan as you wander through the village.
During the evening we will visit Punakha Dzong (fort) also known as the Palace of bliss.
Before reaching there, you will find some fine spots, where you can take a panoramic picture of the fort for your #picoftheday collection.
We will be driving to Phobjikha today and the drive will be around 3 hours from Punakha.
As drive down the valley, you will see many yak herders camp and nomad families at work. This place is also a paradise for bird lovers.

The valley of Gangtey is truly magnificent and a peaceful place and many call it the Shangri la of Bhutan.
With a panoramic view of the valley and beautiful fauna especially during the spring, it’s a true Shangri la.
After lunch, we will be hiking the Gangtey Nature trail today.
The trail leads from the old stupa near the Gangtey Temple and leads you to enjoy the natural beauty of Phobjikha Valley passing via picturesque farmhouses dotted about the fields and on the valley.

An exact replica of a must-visit country- Switzerland lay in the last Shangri la, tucked away miles from the western world.
Bumthang is home to some of the country's most ancient and precious pilgrimage sites. Not to forget, it is known as the birthplace of Buddhism in Bhutan.
The drive to the beautiful landscapes of Bumthang over rural villages and passes marks the gateway towards the eastern part of Bhutan.
Stop over at Trongsa Museum will offer varieties of antique galleries.
Further towards Bumthang, textile lovers will enjoy the sightseeing at Yatra textile center in Chumey valley, home to one of Bhutan's oldest weaving communities in the valley. It will be a treat for textile lover.
Pele la pass takes you over the Black Mountains, the physical boundary between western and central Bhutan. It is 3300 meters above sea levels.
Valley of yak herders: As you drive down the valley you will see many yak herders camp and nomad families doing their daily activities and grazing yaks.
Chendebji Chorten is situated at the point believed to be where the three ridges and the three edges of the sky meet.
It is an important chorten in Bhutan and is recognizable by its roundish shape and the eyes painted on its sides, which bears similarity to the Jarung Khashor (Bodhanath) stupa in Nepal.

Kurjey Lhakhang complex: This majestic complex is located on the right bank of the Chamkhar River opposite Tamshing and Khonchogsum Lhakhang. The Kurje complex is made up of three buildings facing south surrounded by an enclosure made of 108 chortens.
Jakar Dzong is now the seat of district administration and the monastic body of Bumthang Valley. It is built by the founding father of the nation in the 17th century Jambay Lhakhang is one of the oldest temples in the kingdom. It was founded by Songtsen Gampo, a Tibetan King in the 7th century AD. The temple is one of two of the 108 built-in Bhutan. A second is in Paro, the Kichu lhakhang also built on the same day. Chamkhar Town: This little beautiful town is the commercial hub for the Bumthang district.
Overnight at a lodge in Bumthang
Konchogsum Lhakhang is located on the left bank of the Chamkhar River opposite the Kuje complex and very close to Tamshing temple. This tiny temple is surrounded by an enclosure. Like any ancient temple in the Tibetan cultural area, the sanctuary consists of a small central shrine which may have had a circumambulation path.
Mebar Tsho (flaming lake) In the early 16th century, Terton Pema Lingpa discovered the treasure hidden by Guru Rimpoche.
Beer and cheese factory: The factories produce the local cheese and beer. There will be a demonstration of the process.

Visiting the Ura Valley of Bhutan is like journeying back in Time. It has a blend of legend and history.
In the heart of the Ura Valley lies the Ura village, nestled at an elevation of 3,100 meters. It consists of about 50 clustered houses in a traditional setting. It is unfabricated by modernization. The whole layout gives you a feel of the medieval period. The Ura Valley is one and half hours' drive from Bumthang town.
The Ura Valley is surrounded by forests of spruce, pine, larch, fir, Juniper, Bamboo and Rhododendrons.
Ura represents an idyllic Bhutanese village maintaining a beautiful balance between pristine nature and peaceful traditional life.
Ura Valley Hike: Your vehicle will drop you at Shelthang La (Pass); from here walk down through the beautiful meadows along the old walking trails where you can get in
touch with the virgin forest and a wonderful view of the valley below.
The walk is all downhill so, it is not a strenuous one. In fact, it will be a good break to get out of the car and breathe in crisp mountain air while stopping to take pictures at your own pace.
The stunning landscape, high mountains and vibrant sky are what attract people to this place.

The historical town of Paro lies at the centre of a valley rich in sacred sites and ancient buildings and forms part of the core of exceptional destinations in Bhutan.
Home to the only international airport in the country, this pretty destination is covered with terraced paddy fields and quaint farmhouses scattered throughout the valley in the lower areas.
In the upper reaches, coniferous forests look down onto the beautiful Paro Chhu River, which snakes its way below.

Today is the big day, hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest.
