Itinerary
This is the arrival day for all of our tour participants and depending of your flight arrival times you can have a day exploring one of the UNESCO heritage sites in world (Quito's Old Town) or simply rest at the Hotel before our Tour Guide meet you at the Lobby at 6:30 pm for our Orientation meeting and briefing before the starting of the tour. During this meeting you can clarify everything as you might be concerned or curious to know about the tour overall. We can still assist you arranging a full day in Quito or surroundings if you let us know in advance.
Early in the morning we will start our city tour at Panecillo viewpoint to admire the Quito´s wonders from above, then we will walk around two hours visiting the highlights of the old city such as; San Francisco Church, Compañia de Jesús Church and Sagrario Church located on “Calle de la Siete Cruces” or Garcia Moreno Street. Then we will visit the Presidential Palace lobby at Quito´s main Square. Finally we will visit the first Gothic Church of Ecuador, considered the highest one in the city. This is another beautiful viewpoint to observe “The Avenue of the Volcanoes”.
Then we will drive 2 ½ hours to the northern side of the Ecuadorian Andes, where we will tour one of the most visited areas by foreigners and local tourists; the area is known as Imbabura, also called ´The Lakes Province´.
We will then begin our journey going across the Guayllabamba Valley (Green Valley) where we can enjoy delicious fruits, typical of the area, such as Cherimoya and Lima.
We will then continue our trip through an area with several viewpoints – these are the perfect places for people who like photography, finally arrival in Otavalo for overnight.
In the morning ,we will visit Otavalo Indian Market, which is very famous for its quality handicrafts, and its exportation to all over the world.
Then we will take you to visit a wonderful waterfall known as Peguche, it’s a sacred place where the locals renew their energies and you will also do!!!
After it, It is time to stop at Cotacachi Area, which is known for its famous-quality cow and sheep leather articles and also we can have a stop for lunch, there are several typical dishes and you can have a chance to try guinea pig if you desire….
Finally we will visit Cuicocha well known as Guinea Pig Lake for awesome pictures, then we will drive towards Papallacta hotsprings for overnight.
After breakfast , it is time to return back to Quitos airport for a short flight to Coca ( Jungle City) Then you’ll get on board a motorized canoe that will take us to the welcoming area of the Napo Wildlife Center. During the 2-hours ride you will have the opportunity to see some aquatic birds and nature surrounding the Napo River.
Upon arriving to the Napo Cultural Center, located in the Kichwa Anangu community, guests are welcomed with a nice and refreshing traditional drink and then shown to their cabins with stunning views of the wilderness and natural gardens bordering the lodge.
In the afternoon, you can join us in a short walk to the Napo riverbank to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the beaches and natural islands of the Napo riverbank. Then, we’ll return back to the lodge to have a delicious traditional typical dinner at the restaurant. You are welcome to see how the meals are cooked by the chef since the kitchen area is open to visitors.
We get up early in the morning at 4:30 am before sun rises to participate in one the most ancient customs of the Kichwa Anangu community, making the wayusa tea to energize the body and then follow the ritual of listening to kichwa songs and mind and meditate about life and important issues in a peaceful way. After a buffet-style breakfast at the restaurant we’ll visit tthe Canopy observation Tower, a place where you’ll experience the life in the jungle atop the trees.
The 36-meter Canopy tower is about 30 minutes from the lodge deep in the forest. A place as any other! Get a close up view of colorful birds such as tanagers, toucans, macaws, parrots, flycatchers and some mokey species as Spider or Howler monkeys that feed with the fruits and seed found in the nearby trees.

After lunch time, you can choose from the many options the NWC offers you: relaxing on the hammocks, read a book or climbing the dinning room observation tower for birdwatching.
In the afternoon, you’ll go hiking through a stunning terra-firme forest where you will discover the complex ecosystem living in the Amazon Rainforest in Ecuador, vines, orchids, bromeliad, ancient rees and different animals such as insects, spiders, mammals, birds, monkeys, etc. After the hike, you’ll ride on the surrounding creeks on paddle-canoe to explore the aquatic wildlife. Dinner at the lodge at about 7:30pm.

Get up early in the morning to visit the most stunning parrot clay licks in the Amazon jungle in Ecuador!! We’ll paddle downstream on the Anangu creek until reaching the Kichwa Anangu community. Then, after a 10 minutes ride on a motorized canoe we’ll get to the parrot clay licks where hundreds of wonderful colorful birds gather to lick the mineral contained in the soil that help them to digest the fruits and seeds they feed up with.
Then, back to the community welcoming area we’ll go on a short walk to the parakeets clay lick to see hundreds of parakeets atop the trees waiting for the best time to eat the minerals and salt contained in the soil.
Lunch will be served in the welcome are and then, in the afternoon, we’ll visit the Interpretative Centre where you will be welcomed by women of the community. Learn about their customs and traditions at the same time you enjoy from community the typical rituals and dances.
Late in the afternoon, we’ll go back to the lodge to have dinner and rest for the next day adventure.
After an early breakfast we’ll go they way we came back to Coca city. In this last excursion upstream the Napo River you may see some new sights of the Amazonia flora and fauna.
Upon arrival in Quito Ariport, we will drive you trough the hotel in Quito City for overnight.
After breakfast we will drive towards Cotopaxi National Park, which consists of 34,000 hectares, and has a large variety of trails, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and, of course, it’s Volcano, which will captivate you with its majesty and beauty. In the area of the lagoon, Limpiopungo, at 3830 meters above sea level, you will find an enormous diversity of flora and fauna – it is also possible to hike around the lagoon´s shore, where native birds of the Andes are plentiful. Then we will drive higher up to Cotopaxi Staging Area, at 4500 masl. In the Staging Area, it is often possible to admire a Condor in flight. From this point it is possible to climb to the basecamp. Finally we will drive to Baños City for overnight.
Early in the morning, we will start our tour visiting some Banos City sights like the local market, the main Church , the Melcochas tasting. Then we will continue towards the Famous Waterfalls Avenue ( it is the route to the Jungle with more than 30 waterfalls) on this tour we will visit the most beautiful ones as follows: Agoyan ( here you can do zipline with an extra cost ) , Manto de la Novia (here you can go across Pastaza Canyon by cable car , known as Tarabita) , Pailon del Diablo ( at this point we will walk down to see the largest waterfall and discover its 6 balconies few feet away the water).
Then we will trasnport towards Riobamba City for overnight.
The main attraction today will be the Train ride from Alausi to Sibambe Station. It is one of the Engineering Marvels of the twentieth century. The entire ride is breathtaking, and you will definitely admire the beautiful scenery which displays the ethnic and natural richness of the country. On the final section of tracks, you will experience what is known as the Devil’s Nose, where the actual shape of the mountain is similar to a nose. At the end of the train ride, we will continue our journey towards to Ingapirca Archeological Complex, the most important Pre-Inca stop in the entire Ecuador finally we will drive to Cuenca city for overnight.
In the morning, we will visit Cuenca City (declared a Cultural Heritage Site in 1999 by UNESCO). The most representative sites in Cuenca are: Calderon Park (Central Square), the Modern and Old Cathedrals, the Flower Market, and Larga Street with its colonial houses, all of which are unforgettable. We will also visit the Tomebamba River and the Broken Bridge, since they are famous landmarks. Of course an attraction impossible to skip is the Ethnographic Museum (Museo de las Culturas Aborigines). The Ethnographic Museum is a must-see because of its unique art collection from across the country.
After breakfast , it is time to continue enjoying the Andes !!! we will drive towards to Loja City ( the last city in the south the Ecuadorian Andes ) as people say there if you havent seeing Loja - you dont know Ecuador....
Upon Arrival , we will walk around the City visiting some intresting places such as: San Francisco Church , Main Square , the City Musuem & The City Gate.
Then we can grab something to eat along the way towards to Vilcabamba Valley.
Finally , the rest of the afternoon , you can relax at the hotel pool or just walk around the Hotel Garden.

Early in the morning, we will continue our drive towards down to the Coast of Ecuador.
A long the way , we will have several stops to admire, this wonderful change in vegetation and altitude . This is a magical drive with many pictures opportunities, finally we will continue to Guayaquil (the largest city in Ecuador) for overnight.
Early depart to Guayaquil 's International Airport for your local flight to the Galapagos Islands , this flight takes 3 hours ( with an stop in Guayaquil ). Upon your arrival at Baltra's Airport , clear customers and ready to meet your Naturalist Guide from Galapagos. After the guide will take you to Charles Darwin Research Station ( this is the most important research center of the entire Galapagos ) Later in the afternoon you will go to visit a Tortoise Ranch in the highlands of Santa Cruz , where you will see a very big land wild tortoises in natural state. Finally you will return back to town for overnight... Tonight Advise : Don't miss eating at the QUIOSKOS street a very fresh lobster and many different type of sea food caught in the morning. Also go at night to the Pier , where you can see babies sharks , rays and many other animals very close.
Today you will have 3 activities in once as follows: Early bus ride for 30 minutes towards Volcan Sierra Negra , hike up to the Volcano Caldera , along the way you can observe some plants and birds endemic from the Galapagos Islands and off course if the wheather allows you will have a great Volcano View. This volcano erupted on July 2018 , so you will see the reminds of the last eruption. Once we returned back to the Park control , you have two options #1 to take the transportation back to the hotel and get an snack before the next activity start #2 Take a Biking down hill trough the island crops to and a famous Sucre Cave in the way down to town. ( THIS ACTIVITY IS NOT INCLUDED IN PROGRAM , HOWEVER YOU CAN DECIDE IT RIGHT ON THE DAY OF THIS TOUR , PRICE PER PERSON FOR MTB TOUR USD 70 box lunch included )After you return , you will have some time for rest , then we will take to you to another fantastic tour well known as TINTORERAS ISLET At this tour, you will visit a next door islet full of babbie marine iguanas , sea gulls , sea lions, blue footted bobbies , frigatte birds and some Galapagos Penguins. Also depending of the sea tide you will be able to see the TINTORERAS or The White Tip Reef Shark , who rest during day time at the Islet canals. Then you will go for a magic snorkel at La Calera area , where you will swim together with marine iguanas , sea turttles , sea lions and a great number of colorful fish. Finally you will return back to hotel.
Today you will have a free morning to enjoy Isabela Beach or maybe walk trough the wetlands , then in the afternoon you will return back to Santa Cruz by speed boat for overnight... Free morning , 10:00 am check out and transportation to Baltra's Airport to take a flight to Quito late in the afternoon , then transportation to the Hotel in Quito Unfortunately we have to say good bye after we arrive in Quito and we invite you to see one of our other tours in Ecuador Mainland and Peru Tours.. However, if you have booked any of our tours, including domestic flight tickets, then cancellation penalties and the full amount of the flights will be charged.
Payments with Visa and Mastercard can be made in pounds, euros, or dollars. However, if you choose to pay with American Express, a 4% bank fee will apply.
A reservation made through the website on a regular basis cannot be changed. However, travelers can discuss the services and other details if they book the tour privately. Tours booked privately can only be changed if seats are available. Any changes to an entire private reservation will be considered a cancellation and will be subject to cancellation fees, resulting in a 100% loss of deposit.
- Booking Changes: Once your private booking is confirmed, any changes will incur a €50.00 fee.
- Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellation quieries must be made in wirten and signed by the traveler or tour operators.
- Due to limited seats and the organizations being planned days in advance, any Anzac Day Gallipoli Tours will not be refunded, including the 25% deposits.
- If you have booked a tour that includes domestic flight tickets, the tickets will be charged at the full amount. Cancellations must be made at least 8 weeks before the tour departure; otherwise, late penalties will apply.

Future Tour Credits: This system is designed for travelers who wish or need to cancel their booking due to certain reasons. In such cases, travelers and operators can retain the full balance amount in the system and utilize it for a future tour. Additionally, travelers can book new tours from the deals pages and, by doing so, not only avoid reduced refund amounts but also avail of discounted tours.
Future Tour Credits are only applicable for tours listed on the deals page; campaigns offering substantial discounts, such as Black Friday deals, are not valid. However, they can choose their new tours from all categories on our pages.
What Is Future Tour Credit?: Future Tour Credits is a feature that allows travelers to re-book their travel at a later date instead of canceling for some reason. Sometimes travelers may have to or want to cancel their paid travels due to reasons beyond their control. With this feature, you can specify the amount as credit and allow them to use it for their re-bookings with your brand for a new date. Suppliers and travelers can notify us through [email protected] for details.
Yacht and Hotels: The availability of accommodations is always a crucial aspect of nearly all types of tours. If the hotel listed by the Supplier in the included and excluded sections is unavailable, the Supplier is responsible for arranging a similar hotel for the traveler and notifying the traveler accordingly.
Prices: All suppliers are responsible for keeping their prices up to date. In the event that a supplier's price is not current at the time of a booked tour, they are obligated to conduct the tour at the price listed on our platform. Therefore, we strongly advise suppliers to review and update their prices at least every six months, - twice a year.
Discounts / Special Offers: If travelers book a discounted tour from any of the Suppliers, they are required to make the full payment at the time of booking. Additionally, no cancellations or refunds are accepted for discounted tours. This rule protects the supplier from potential financial losses while also incentivizing them to offer promotions.
Children Discounts: children between 0 to 11 have discounts listed below. Older than 11 years old children are charged full amount and children younger than 18 must travel with ab adult. There will be no exception about it. Also 25% of the tour coast will be charges for baby seats for buses.

Flights: If it is not a special category, generally, international and domestic flights are not included to the tours. Hence, travelers are responsible for booking their own international flight tickets and notifying the supplier of their arrival if airport transfer is promised. Flight cancellations, delays, and all types of flight penalties are the responsibility of the traveler and the airline company. The supplier bears no responsibility in such cases.
Tours included domestic flight tickets: Certain tour packages feature domestic flight tickets. In this case, the supplier needs to provide you with copies of all your flight tickets, tour vouchers, itinerary, hotel contact information, and confirmation emails. Additionally, these documents will be included in your welcome pack upon arrival at the airport. It's crucial to carefully review all information (names, arrival and departure times, flight details, etc.) and promptly notify us of any discrepancies. Once booked and confirmed, we cannot be held responsible for any errors in this information. Please note that a maximum of 15-20 kilograms is allowed on domestic flights.
Insurance: Having travel insurance will protect travelers against unexpected situations such as health problems, flight delays, burglaries, etc., during your tour. Therefore, we highly advise all travelers to obtain insurance before departure.
a. The following insurance policies, which are not included in any tour packages, can be helpful against unforeseen circumstances.
b. Travel cancellation insurance: This helps minimize financial risk in case the traveler needs to cancel before departure.
c. Travel interruption insurance: This helps minimize financial risk in case the traveler experiences an interruption during the trip after departure.
Adequate health insurance.
All suppliers need to provide travelers with the transport schedule, luggage limit information, airport transfers, guides, and meeting point information via email and upon meeting travelers in person. Additionally, it is the travelers' responsibility to review the instructions carefully and not to miss the meeting points and times.
Entrance Fees: All entrance fees mentioned in the itinerary are included in the tour price and will be paid before or during the tour. Additionally, travelers have the option to visit museums and other places with entrance fees at their own expense if they wish.
Accommodation: Suppliers are required to provide the hotels listed in the itinerary. However, in cases where the listed hotels are unavailable due to reasons such as seasonality or other mandatory circumstances, suppliers must offer similar alternatives to the travelers.
Check in and check out: According to global standards, hotel check-in time is typically 14:00, and check-out time is 12:00. To inquire about early check-in and late check-out options, suppliers and/or travelers need to contact the hotel directly.
Private and Regular Tours: Both regular and private tours are offered on our website. A private tour is exclusive to those with reservations, while a regular tour allows for a larger number of participants. Pricing varies based on group size and tour type. Please be aware that the Supplier reserves the right to modify the order of activities outlined in the booked itinerary if necessary.
Optional tours: Depending on your tour, you can find various optional tours on our website and book them separately. It's important to note that these optional tours are not included in traveler's main tour package. While travelers can book these optional tours online.
Passports & Visas: Travelers need a valid passport and visa for the country they will visit. TravelShop Booking and Suppliers do not provide any passports or visas for any cases. They can only provide invitation letters, which will help you in your visa application after you have paid the full balance of the tour.
Personal items: TravelShop Booking&Suppliers are not responsible for the loss of personal items such as jewelry, money, or valuable documents. Utilizing the hotel safes or facilities provided at the Guest Relations Desk can be helpful in safeguarding your belongings. Travel Prohibitions: Passengers who are 27 weeks pregnant or more may be prohibited from traveling, prioritizing their safety and health. However, travel may be permitted with sufficient medical documentation up to 24-26 weeks of pregnancy. Please consult your doctor before planning your tour.
Dietary Requirements: If you need or require special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, diabetic, children's menus, and dairy-free options please notify your Supplier before the tour departure. If you have any dietary sensitivities, please notify them at least 2 weeks before your tour start date.
Handicapped Services: Suppliers offer private services tailored to meet handicapped requirements, along with accessible tours. For assistance, please reach out to your tour supplier to make arrangements.
Photos and Videos during tour: At times, Suppliers gather photos and videos to share on their social media accounts and for marketing purposes. Suppliers should always ask for travelers' permission first. Travelers have the option to decline participation in these visual documents. If travelers notice any photos or videos being shared without their consent, please inform your Supplier and us ([email protected]) to have them removed.
Tipping: Tipping, like in the rest of the world, is a cultural practice that fosters goodwill and encourages helpfulness. Please check your itinerary for tipping details or ask your Supplier.
Disclosure Notice All travelers acknowledge that TravelShop Booking is a global marketplace that offers an online platform connecting tour suppliers providing various land services, operators who purchase tours for their travelers, and travelers seeking tours, including optional tours across various categories. All users are aware of and agree to this.
TravelShop Booking reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to allow suppliers worldwide to post, upload, publish, submit, or transmit text, images, graphics, videos, or other materials (collectively, "Content") on the platform. When Suppliers share Content on the Platform, they grant TravelShop Booking permission to use it, including in publications and promotional materials. By granting this permission, Suppliers provide TravelShop Booking with a worldwide, irreversible, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license. TravelShop Booking does not claim ownership of this content. Moreover, these Terms do not limit any rights you may have to use and exploit the Content. Additionally, TravelShop Booking can remove any Content deemed abusive, harmful, illegal, pornographic, incites hate, obscene or defamatory, racist, sexist, or similar without prior permission or notification.
On our global platform, tours are booked directly with the respective supplier, and their current terms and conditions apply. If the suppliers have not uploaded their terms and conditions, then TravelShop Booking's terms and conditions are applicable. By booking a tour, the supplier, operator, and travelers agree to our terms and conditions.
By clicking "Book Now," you are booking the tours provided by that specific supplier. The contract for your travel adventure is established when the supplier accepts your booking. In this scenario, the contract is directly between you, the traveler and the supplier. If you are an operator, then the contract is between the operator, and the supplier. TravelShop Booking saves the contract text and your booking data to manage the contractual relationship.
When utilizing the TravelShop Booking platform, travelers commit to supplying all necessary personal information promptly, comprehensively, and truthfully. Specifically, travelers need to disclose upfront any circumstances and restrictions that may impact the execution of services by TravelShop Booking and the supplier, such as special needs like food intolerances, restricted mobility, or health conditions.
The Traveler commits to reviewing all contractual documents received through Travelshop Booking's Services, such as travel contracts, booking confirmations, and vouchers, for accuracy and completeness, including spelling errors (e.g., name, date of birth, special travel requirements). Any identified errors must be promptly reported to TravelShop Booking and the Supplier.
Travelers are responsible for notifying TravelShop Booking and tour suppliers during their booking process about any restrictions they may have, such as restricted mobility, pregnancy, or special medical needs.
It is recommended that any complaints be submitted in writing to TravelShop Booking via [email protected]. Failure to report any discrepancies may prejudice the Traveler. However, reporting a discrepancy alone does not impose any legal obligations on TravelShop Booking or the Supplier.
In the event that the Traveler receives payments related to claims for damages or price reductions due to breach of contract, they must promptly inform TravelShop Booking.
