Los Cabos Glass-Bottom Kayak & Snorkel: Santa Maria to Chileno Bay

Professional bilingual guides (English and Spanish) accompany participants throughout the kayaking and snorkeling experience from Santa Maria Bay to Chileno Bay.

Your guide provides a safety briefing, kayaking instructions, and assistance with equipment before starting the activity.

During the approximately 40–50-minute kayak journey, the guide leads the group along the scenic coastline, adapting the pace and route to participants' abilities and ocean conditions.

Upon arrival at Chileno Bay, your guide supervises the snorkeling session, helping guests explore the marine environment safely.

All activities are fully guided and begin directly from the beach. No boats are used.

Complimentary bottled water and light snacks, including granola bars, are provided during the guided kayaking and snorkeling excursion.

Breakfast, lunch, and full meals are not included in this tour.

Civil liability insurance is included as part of the tour operator's coverage, subject to the terms, conditions, coverage limits, and exclusions of the applicable insurance policy.

Coverage applies within the scope of the operator's policy during the guided kayaking and snorkeling activities. All claims are subject to review by the insurance provider.

This coverage does not replace personal travel or medical insurance.

Complimentary round-trip transportation is included from selected hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor in an air-conditioned Chevrolet Express or Toyota Hiace van.

Additional hotel pick-ups may be scheduled along the route. Exact pick-up times and meeting instructions are confirmed after booking.

Guests staying outside the designated complimentary transportation area, including Hard Rock, Nobu, Diamante, Rancho San Lucas, and Four Seasons Costa Palmas, meet at OXXO Plaza Gali in Cabo San Lucas.

Guests arriving independently may arrange to meet directly at Santa Maria Beach or at OXXO Plaza Gali, subject to advance confirmation.

The kayaking experience begins at Santa Maria Bay and concludes at Chileno Bay. Transportation between the beaches, when required, and return transportation from Chileno Bay to the original hotel or designated meeting point are included.

All kayaking and snorkeling activities take place directly from the beach. No boats are used.

• Tandem kayaks equipped with transparent bottom viewing panels and paddles.

• Complete snorkeling equipment, including mask, snorkel, and fins.

• Guided kayaking from Santa Maria Bay to Chileno Bay, followed by a guided snorkeling session exclusively at Chileno Bay.

SCHEDULE AND DURATION

• Operating days: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

• Scheduled departure: 9:00 AM.

• Approximately 2 hours of kayaking and snorkeling, plus transportation time.

• Exact hotel pick-up times and meeting instructions are provided after booking.

• Morning departures are generally recommended for calmer ocean conditions and better visibility.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum age: 6 years.

• Basic to moderate physical fitness, swimming ability, and comfort in the water are required.

• Participants should be able to paddle for approximately 40–50 minutes between Santa Maria and Chileno Bays.

• Maximum combined weight per tandem kayak: 425 lb (approximately 193 kg), including both participants.

• This activity is not recommended for pregnant guests or individuals with back problems, serious heart conditions, or medical conditions that may prevent safe participation.

• The tour is not wheelchair accessible.

• Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to join the activity.

OCEAN CONDITIONS AND SAFETY

• The experience begins directly from Santa Maria Beach with a guided kayak journey to Chileno Bay.

• One guided snorkeling session takes place exclusively at Chileno Bay, subject to ocean conditions.

• All activities begin directly from the beach. No motorized boats are used.

• The kayaking route and snorkeling activities may be adjusted according to weather, wind, currents, and safety considerations.

• Marine wildlife sightings are possible but cannot be guaranteed.

• If the tour is canceled due to unsafe weather, ocean conditions, or operational restrictions, guests will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

• Wetsuits are available upon advance request.

TRANSPORTATION AND MEETING POINTS

• Complimentary round-trip transportation is available from selected hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor.

• Hotels outside the designated complimentary transportation area, including Hard Rock, Nobu, Diamante, Rancho San Lucas, and Four Seasons Costa Palmas, are not included in hotel pick-up service.

• Guests staying at these properties meet at OXXO Plaza Gali in Cabo San Lucas.

• Guests arriving independently may arrange to meet at OXXO Plaza Gali or directly at Santa Maria Beach, subject to advance confirmation.

• Return transportation from Chileno Beach is included.

• Exact pick-up times and meeting instructions are confirmed after booking.

CRUISE PASSENGERS

• Cabo San Lucas is a tender port. Allow sufficient time for disembarkation and return to the ship.

• We recommend taking the earliest available tender or arranging priority tender service whenever possible.

• Cruise passengers meet at OXXO Plaza Gali, approximately 3–5 minutes walking from the marina exit.

• Detailed walking directions are provided with the booking confirmation.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION AND PUNCTUALITY

• If you have not received your final pick-up time or meeting instructions at least 24 hours before your tour, please contact us directly.

• A printed voucher is not required. Your guide will ask for the reservation name.

• Please arrive punctually at the confirmed meeting point or pick-up location. Guides wait a maximum of 5 minutes.

• No-shows and late arrivals are charged in full.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time of this shared tour.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure and no-shows are charged in full.

• Medical refund requests require an official doctor's certificate issued on the day of the activity and notification before the scheduled start time.

WHAT TO BRING

• Sun protection, including sunscreen and a hat.

• Comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for beach activities.

• Only essential personal belongings. Locker facilities are not available, but belongings may usually remain inside the transportation vehicle during the activity.
