Private Kayak & Snorkel Adventure: Santa Maria to Chileno Bay, Los Cabos

Certified bilingual guides (English and Spanish) accompany guests throughout the private kayaking and snorkeling experience from Santa Maria Bay to Chileno Bay.

Your guide provides safety instructions, kayaking assistance, and personalized guidance during the approximately 40–50-minute paddle along the coastline.

Upon arrival at Chileno Bay, your guide supervises the snorkeling session, adapting the activity to the group's abilities and daily ocean conditions.

Snorkeling takes place exclusively at Chileno Bay. All water activities begin directly from the beach, without boats.

Complimentary bottled water and light snacks, including granola bars, are provided during the kayaking and snorkeling experience. No full meals are included in this tour.

Civil liability insurance is included as part of the tour operator's coverage, subject to the terms, conditions, coverage limits, and exclusions of the applicable insurance policy.

Coverage applies within the scope of the operator's policy during the guided activity. All claims are subject to review by the insurance provider.

This coverage does not replace personal travel or medical insurance.

Complimentary round-trip transportation is included from selected hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor in an air-conditioned Chevrolet Express or Toyota Hiace van.

Additional hotel pick-ups may be scheduled along the route. Exact pick-up times and meeting instructions are provided after booking.

Guests staying outside the designated complimentary transportation area, including Hard Rock, Nobu, Diamante, Rancho San Lucas, and Four Seasons Costa Palmas, meet at OXXO Plaza Gali in Cabo San Lucas.

Guests arriving independently may arrange their meeting point in advance.

The kayaking experience begins directly from Santa Maria Beach and ends at Chileno Beach. No motorized boats are used. Transportation back from Chileno Bay is included.

Included:

• Tandem kayaks equipped with transparent bottom viewing panels and paddles.

• Complete snorkeling equipment, including mask, snorkel, and fins.

• Life jackets for all participants.

• Wetsuits available upon advance request.

• Guided kayaking from Santa Maria Bay to Chileno Bay, followed by one guided snorkeling session at Chileno Bay.

SCHEDULE AND DURATION

• Available daily, with flexible departure times subject to availability and ocean conditions.

• Approximately 2.5 hours of kayaking and snorkeling, plus transportation.

• Exact departure and hotel pick-up times are confirmed after booking. Morning departures are recommended.

PRIVATE BOOKING AND GROUP SIZE

• This experience is exclusively reserved for your group.

• A minimum charge equivalent to 3 participants applies, even when only 1 or 2 guests attend.

• Select the actual number of guests when booking; no additional participants need to be registered.

• Tandem kayaks accommodate 2 guests, with a maximum combined weight of 193 kg (425 lb).

PARTICIPATION AND SAFETY

• Suitable ages: 6–70 years.

• Swimming ability, reasonable physical fitness, and comfort in the water are required.

• Participants should be able to paddle approximately 40–50 minutes from Santa Maria Bay to Chileno Bay.

• Life jackets are mandatory during water activities.

• Not recommended for pregnant guests or those with serious back, heart, or mobility conditions. Not wheelchair accessible.

• The experience begins with kayaking at Santa Maria Bay, followed by one guided snorkeling session exclusively at Chileno Bay.

• The kayaking route and snorkeling activities are subject to ocean and weather conditions. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed.

• If High Tide cancels due to unsafe conditions, guests may reschedule or receive a full refund.

• All water activities begin directly from the beach; no boats are used.

TRANSPORTATION AND MEETING POINTS

• Round-trip transportation is included from selected hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor.

• No complimentary hotel pick-up from Hard Rock, Nobu, Diamante, Rancho San Lucas, or Four Seasons Costa Palmas. Guests staying there meet at OXXO Plaza Gali.

• Independent travelers may arrange to meet at Santa Maria Beach in advance.

• Cruise passengers meet at OXXO Plaza Gali, not at the pier.

BOOKING AND CANCELLATIONS

• Please provide your hotel name or meeting arrangements when booking.

• Arrive punctually; guides wait a maximum of 5 minutes. No printed voucher is required.

• Free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure. Later cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.

• Medical refund requests require same-day documentation and advance notification.

• If a cruise ship cannot arrive or tender, a refund may be requested with at least 12 hours' notice.

WHAT TO BRING

Swimsuit, towel, biodegradable sunscreen, sun protection, comfortable beach footwear, and personal medication if needed. Wetsuits are available upon advance request.
